Got 2b powderful review
Got it free to test,i totally like the packaging but rather see the bottle as a see through clear bottle that would be cool but i put powder on palms and rubbed it together put it on the roots of my hair.
I didnt like it one bit so sticky on roots of hair and once your done ,i noticed no effect and was just left with sticky hands.
It was tested on my black dyed thick coarse long hair day.Definitly needs improvement like a mousse or pomade wax form etc.
Not what I expected
I got this powder'ful volumizing styling powder thanks to ChickAdvisor. I tried it and didn't see much difference with my volume, I followed the instructions by putting the powder in my hand rubbing together then applying on the hair but it didn't do much, perhaps next time I will try to put it directly at the root and rub my hair. I didn't have the result I was expecting but I will continue using the product and see which way to use it is best. #gotitfree #got2B
Trial 2.Applied directly to the root and rubbed my hair, it definately worked. I recommend this product if you want more volume.
Meh..
Got this product to try out for free from Chickadvisor. Honestly, did not notice much of a difference when I used it so probably not something I will incorporate into my daily routine. Kinda wish it was a spray than a powder as it’s easier to not flatten your hair when applying to the roots that way.
Too sticky!
I received this product for free to try; these opinions are of my own.
This definitely lifted my hair and gave some well needed volume but I found it to be quite sticky, and I needed to use quite a bit of it to get results so I think it would be used up quickly since it comes in such of a small bottle. I don't think I would purchase again, and I wouldn't recommend to friends or family.
Not for oily hair!
Maybe it’s a good product for someone else but it didn’t work great on me. I wouldn’t buy it for the next reasons:
1. I had to put a lot of powder to have the volume effect that I wanted. I have a thin strand and I do not have a lot of hair, so I had to use a lot of product to get what I wanted. So, the amount of product (for me) is not enough for the price.
2. Because I have an oily hair scalp, and the amount of product that I had to put was a lot, this caused me a displeasure. Seemed like my hair was very dirty and I started itching. (It wasn’t an allergy it was just uncomfortable).
3. I’m a brunette, my hair is very dark, and the product is white. So it’s hard to mix all the product whiteout leaving any white spots on the hair. The powder is very thin and it becomes translucent but it’s hard to mix it up without leaving the hair a little greyish!
This is my conclusion, maybe it’s better for blondes and people with more volumous hair! But it didn’t quite work for me!
Interesting product
I received this product for free to try with chickadvisor these opinions are my own I haven't really tried very many texturising powders before but this one is quite interesting I decided to try it with a ponytail Style hairdo and I sprinkled it on my roots and I kind of lightly brushed over it and kind of rubbed in the powder to my roots and I noticed my hair look fuller now for somebody like me who suffers from alopecia which is pretty out of control lots of bald spots I found this so useful for the areas where I I'm balding I would sprinkle it around the roots on that area and it would almost fill in and you wouldn't be able to notice the bald spots when my hair removed I absolutely loved that because I spend a lot of time trying to cover them up with either my hair that I do have or with root touch up sprays so this was really Pleasant surprised that it worked for my alopecia considering. I have nothing bad to say about it I would definitely be buying the product again and I will be purchasing it for further use for my alopecia
Disapointing
Glad I got this for free from Chick Advisor. I'll keep using it until it's done, but I'd be bummed if I spent $$ on it. But.. issue #1 as soon as you dump some in your palm and rub your hands together, the powder completely disappears (instructions say it's supposed to be this way) and you can't see what or where you're distributing. It does give some volume though, so it's not a total flop, but results aren't crazy noticeable. I can feel the residue left on my hair and hands from it and my hair doesn't look that different. Pretty disappointed in this ;( it looked really promising and Got2b is normally an amazing hair brand (especially in the volume department)
Great product!
I think the value is great and it does what it’s meant for! However not a huge fan of the scent. I think if you’re more experienced with hair styling, you’ll love this.
Good Stuff
I had my brother use this product cause he uses a similar brand of the same product. He insisted this one didn't work as well as the other one, even though this one is technically cheaper on the market. This one was not as matt and the white powder residue still showed.
Ok this product is weird. The texture feels like starch. It does some instant volumizing, but do not confuse it with great styling. Maybe I haven't learnt how to work it yet... I got it as a volumizing mousse alternative on a short trip (why doesn't mousse come in containers under 100 ml to take it in the carry-on?), so together with the cheap hotel conditioner, it did not do the job at all... The verdict: I'm confused but not giving up just yet...
