Not for me but I've never had luck with mousse ☹️
This is the only Got2b product I don't like. I find that it makes my hair frizzy no matter how hard I work to straighten it. As it is volumizing, my guess is it swells the hair shaft. This would be great for someone with fine hair, but I have crazy Brazilian/Jamaican hair! I want height not necessarily thickness. I'd love to say this worked for me, but it's just not the truth!
Thanks for letting me try this Chick Advisor and Got2b!
Although I usually love got2b products, I was not thrilled with the mousse.
My hair was stiff and it did not seem to hold my style well.
On the upside, I was able to brush it out easily, and my hair looked good.
so complexe
so let's be honest i have not used mousse since the 1990's. So upon trying it i found it SUPER hard to dispense. Had to shake the can vigorously 7 times, after trying to dispense the product. The first shot almost froze my hand. after that just trying to press the nozzle was a challenge. Took me over 5 minutes just to get mousse out. Once i did get some, it was fluffy and light. However i found the product sticky and weighed my hair down. I will say it's not like the old mouse where your hair remained wet looking and hard, this was light and had a nice feel. Not sure i'll buy more but i will try it again just to be sure. but the dispensing really turned me off.
Wouldnt buy this product
I received this product through the Product Review Club. I use mousse occasionally when I'm planning a nite out. I applied after my shower and started to blowdry my hair. It left my hair in a horrible tangle. I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair without them getting stuck. My hair was a dry tangled mess. I tried the mousse on 2 separate occasions and had to shower it out after use :( Sadly I wont purchase this product, and I am a huge Got2B fan.
Pretty basic as far as mouse goes
ChickAdvisor sent me this mousse to try for free and it is one that I may or may not buy again. As far as quality goes, it doesn't do the greatest job taming my curly, frizzy locks, but it's alright. I will keep it as a back up mousse for when I need a quick touch-up but overall, it is not my first choice. I actually like mousse products will a bit of cream or gel in them as that works really well to tame my frizz, without leaving it feeling crusty. I get a bit of stiffness with the got2b mousse and that is something I could do without. VERDICT = it's alright.
Not impressed
I wanted this product to work. I tried it while my hair was demp, dry, and in combination with other products I already love. Unfortunately, this mousse did nothing for my curly hair. It did the exact opposite of volumizing every single usage. Got2b's 2sexy Voluptuous Volume Mousse does a much better job in volumizing IMO.
Not my favorite
I am on torn on my feelings about mousse for volume purposes. I feel often it weighs the hair down unless you have a professional hair stylist blow drying it out from all angles, over and over again.
I do not use mousse often, but I gave this a try. It did add some extra volume to my hair, but I also had to blow dry it extra long and more in some spots, so it would dissipate more and not leave my hair crunchy. I feel mousse is one of those things that is not for everyone, but it does work for some.

not a great product for air dryers
I like using mousse, but this one isn't for me. the scent is great and very mild and yes it does hold the curls BUT I don't like the way my hair felt after it was dried. I usually hair dry my hair and want a product that i can put in after I shower and then walk out the door. It was disappointing that this product left my hair feeling heavy and looking kind of greasy instead when I tried doing that.
it works fine when i blow dry my hair but I don't have time for that so this product isn't for me.
A mousse fail from got2b
ChickAdvisor sent to me for free to test out the product. I used it twice, and already I was unhappy with it. It just made my hair rough and sticky. I don't use any kind of heat to style my hair cause they cause split ends to my hair. I guess you can only use it with heat.
Volume without all the sticky stuff
I was very excited to be selected by @ChickAdvisor to product test the new got2b Volumaniac bodyfying Mousse. I #gotitfee from @got2bcanada and for being an active member of the Chick Advisor product review club. I love trying new and exciting products. I generally use a BB cream on my hair and was a little hesitant to try something new. Once I shook the can enough the mouse came out easily in a nice big fluffy cloud in my hand. I distributed it throughout my hair and proceeded to comb out my hair. It was very easy to comb through. I then blew dry my hair and was very pleased with the results. My hair looks uplifted and had more overall volume. I got dressed and headed out to a friends Canada day bar-b-q. By now it is pouring rain! We sat under a canopy for about an hour until the rain stopped and then they proceeded with the cooking. I rain into the bathroom to check out my hair. I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. I had retained the volume on the top of my head were I had used about half a bottle of hair spray the the lengths of my hair were super frizzy and a total mess. Using my regular BB cream on my hair would of kept it under control. This product is great for adding volume. It is not sticky at all. One a good weather day it might be the proper product to use, but on a rainy dull day my hair needs more. Thank you @Got2bCAN for producing a good volume boosting mouse that smells great.
