This gaming keyboard from GranVela is the first "mechanical feel" keyboard I've tried, so I was very curious to see how close to an actual mechanical keyboard it would come. I was happy to find that the actual feel of the keys is similar to that of a mechanical keyboard, though it doesn't quite mimic it perfectly. It's a good compromise in that regard, as this keyboard is far less expensive than actual mechanical ones. So it's definitely an option for those who like the idea of a mechanical keyboard, but don't want to commit to the price.

The keyboard has several different lighting settings you can cycle through, or if you prefer you can turn them off altogether. Personally, I found they looked very nice while on, though only when static, as constantly changing lights distracted my eyes while gaming. I found the keyboard very easy to use, as you just plug it in and play, and it was comfortable on my hands and wrists. I found it very easy to adapt to the exact shape and feel of this keyboard, and using it for gaming was easy and simple to do right from the start.

I did find that the white colour was very easy to see dirt, dust or hair on, but at least the keys are easy to remove for cleaning. Overall, this keyboard works very well for general use and for gaming, and I had no complaints!
