Off-brand is the way to go!

Like many people during the pandemic, my life consisted of snacks and movies. Overtime, I realized the name brand chips were getting a little too costly for this broke University student's budget so I tried the Great Value brand instead. I went in with low expectations but to my surprise - they were better than the name brand chips I'd been buying before. The flavour was still there and just as wonderful but less intense, which has honestly made me crave chips a little less! Plus there seems to be way more chips inside the bag - which just makes it last longer! I recommend Great Value chips to any and all broke university/college students!

Great tasting chips!

We decided to give the great value chips a try because they were a cheaper offer. They didn’t disappoint. They taste great. You get a lot in the bags.

wal mart chips are way better than buying the name brand of chips, they have the same selection as lays, but half the price but not half on taste, if I need chips for parties that is my to go chip

Dollar chips

One dollar a bag u can’t go wrong the taste of most cheap chips are gross I must say but these are actually really good and got a decent amount of flavour there was one flavour I forget witch one and the seasoning wasn’t the best what I mean by that is that there wasn’t a lot of flavour think it was ketchup but over all I’d buy them again 💯

Great value chips

Great value plain chips are heavier than lays and taste greasy they don’t taste like normal chips would and the potato flavor is hard to taste the price isn’t bad but they don’t taste very good

Good chips

I started buying these instead of the lays brand. I think these taste just like the lays. I would recommend them and I will keep buying them. They’re cheap but good.

Store brand works for us

Although chips may not be the healthiest of snack options, we do indulge from time to time. We have found that the Great Value brand of chips are just as great as name brand chips. The only difference is that the price is substantially lower with the Great Value brand. Chips have great flavor and are always crispy.

Just as good a "name brand"

These chips are just as good as "name brand" if not even better. I was on a budget this weekend but needed to grab some for a party. These were opened first and gone in no time. Great taste and great price.

Love these

I love GV chips! They can be rather salty tho. I will continue to buy this brand. Good bang for my buck! I love the bbq ones to put on top of my sandwiches. I wish they had more flavors tho

Would buy again

I purchased the great value regular potato chips. You get a decent amount in the bag, they taste great and they are less than a dollar for a 200g bag.
