Works well but very strong scent!

I received this product from @thisisbutterly for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The product is gentle on my skin, so I had no irritation and it cleanses well. However, the scent is super strong! It smells strongly of Bergamot, which isn't my favourite. Despite this, I think it works well. I love the pump bottle! Super easy!

Highly scented

I have the handwash and hand cream and the scents of this brand are not for me. It is too strong and not a scent I enjoy but other people like this scent so I have given the products away to a family who will appreciate them. The body wash comes out of the push pump and feels very slippery on the skin. The scent is actually much lighter and not as pungent as the handwash so I would use this body wash as a handwash. It feels gentler than normal because it does not create suds but I kinda love lathering suds.

Good but doesn't lather and strong herbal scent

Even though it worked the same as the cream in terms of getting a smooth, soft and clean skin immediately after applying it, I wouldn't purchase this one again. I'm very particular about shower gels and the fact that it does not lather really bothers me. The gel consistency here again is easy to apply but I somewhat need a shower gel to lather to feel refreshed and I find I ended up using way too much product every time I had a shower.

Also the scent is not my favorite. While it is nice if you like anything herbal, it's too strong for me and I'd again much prefer an actual energizing scent. I find the word "energize" to be misleading. I wouldn't expect an herbal scent associated with the "energize" word. Most of the shower gels that are labeled as "energizing" are usually based on a fruity or citrus scent. Herbal scents sound more relaxing or calming than energizing so that would be maybe something to think about on the company's side.

Overall, it was still a very nice discovery and I will be purchasing different products from this company since the body cream was great.

Gentle & soft on skin

This cleanser isn’t a foaming type of cleanser so it feels oily when using it but it’s very gentle and soft on the skin. It doesn’t make my skin feel dried out like a soap bar would. I don’t love the scent when showering but the scent fades so it doesn’t bother me.

Overall it’s a nice body wash but find that I use too much because it doesn’t lather and is on thinner side for a liquid body wash so it’s hard to tell if I’ve gone overboard or not. It would be nice if it foamed even a little bit so I don’t feel like I’m wasting as much especially for the price of it.

Not my favourite scent

I received this product free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review and this product was okay. The scent consisted of Chamomile, Bergamot, Rose which I usually like the sent of Camomile and Rose but I thought it was too strong and was not the biggest fan of the scent overall. I like how soft the cleanser felt on my skin and how it made my skin feel after the shower but this cleanser doesn't lather or create suds compared to my other body washes. I typically prefer suds but you can always use a loofa with the cleanser to get that effect as well, which I ended up doing.

Decent Cleanser but Scents aren't Energizing

I received this body cleanser for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. After using the Grown Alchemist Energize Body Cleanser for a week, I found it to be a good, clean gel formula but I can't rate it 5 stars. I prefer a cream cleanser as gel cleansers like this one dry my skin out somewhat. My main quibble with this cleanser was the scent - it's called energize but all three scent notes (chamomile, bergamot and rose) are more relaxing and would be better suited to a product used before bed, not called energize. I love the Grown Alchemist brand and what they stand for, so will definitely try other variations of body cleanser they come out with, in the hopes that they suit my needs better.

It's alright

I don't love the smell of this - it is lacking on the floral front - but it appealed to my partner. I also notice that after using it the smell does not linger at all. While it feels refreshing, I would like the smell to last longer for this price point. It would also be nice if it lathered. I enjoy the bottle, but do find that the pump could be a bit more lux and that the plastic tends to scratch.

Not bad

I was very happy to be able to test this product out for free from Butterly. First off, I like the scent, it’s very fresh and clean. While using this product on my skin, it felt very refreshing and very cleansing and left my skin feeling squeaky clean and soft after using it. The only thing I didn’t love about this cleansing product is that it doesn’t lather nicely, so I kinda felt like I was using too much of it at once just to get that clean feeling affect. I would still recommend this product as it is a feel good cleansing body wash.
