A dream cream!

I felt instantly pampered when using this luxurious body cream. It has a soothing yet fresh and invigorating scents that are not overpowering. The texture of this body cream is light and airy and it left my skin feeling smooth as soon as it was absorbed. It was easy to work into my skin and did feel thick or sticky after the application. It did require some rubbing otherwise it can be a bit greasy. My skin felt hydrated and nourished after the first use.

Great Product!

The texture of this product is creamy and it's great for really dry skin during winter. However, it doesn't absorb quickly on my skin. It also leaves a white cast. But if you continuously rub the product in, it will absorb later. It works best when your skin is wet after a shower to help the absorption. If you have dry patches, you can put the product on. The smell is also amazing! It's a bit pricey, but I'm grateful that I got it for free! :)

High quality luxury

I’ll start by saying that I’m very picky with body creams/lotions. I absolutely can’t stand feeling sticky, greasy or slippery. Considering that Grown Alchemist makes my very favorite hand cream I had high expectations for their body cream - and they were met! Soft, silky cream with a lovely mild fragrance and no oiliness whatsoever! Yes, it’s expensive, but the luxurious feeling I get when I put it on has me convinced! Thank you Butterly and Grown Alchemist for introducing me to your excellent products!

Smells great!

I’ve never purchased anything from Grown Alchemist before, but now that I’ve tried out their soap and lotion, I may just branch out! 🧴

First off, I adore the packaging, which reminds me of old apothecary jars. The body cleanser (aka soap) is a smaller than the body cream (lotion), but both come with a super handy pump. The soap has plenty of suds and the lotion is supwr moiturizing and glided on very easily.

My only qualm with both is the overpowering scent of rosemary, especially with the soap. In addition to the rosemary, the lotion had fresh hints of mandarin which really helped lighten the scent.

A dry-skin lifesaver!

Thank you Butterly for the free Grown Alchemist Restorative Body Cream to try and review! My skin usually dries out as the weather changes, so this body cream has saved the skin on my legs. What was once visibly dry is now looking nourished and hydrated! The formula applies evenly to the skin and it absorbs quickly, leaving me with instantly soft skin. As a citrus fan, I love that this includes mandarin oil. The scent combination is spa-like, and it lingers lightly on the skin throughout the day. This is a relatively lightweight body cream that performs like a thick, hydrating moisturizer.

Very hydrating

Very nice body cream! For me it doesn’t absorb very quickly after a shower but it hydrates really well, leaving my skin feeling nourished and smooth. My skin gets very dehydrated in the winter and this has helped bring some hydration back to my skin.

As for scent, if you like mandarin, it is the only scent that you can really smell from it which can be very overpowering at first but it fades pretty quickly.

I wished the scent lasted longer on the skin instead of going from extremely scented when applying to little to no scent soon after.

I do however love that it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and soft!

Nourishes, Softens and Hydrates Skin Effortlessly!

This was the first time I used a plant based restorative body cream. I received it for free and was honestly blown away by what a great job it does at nourishing, hydrating and softening my skin.
It has a lovely scent with the mandarin and rosemary blend and the harmonius infusion of vitamins e and c strengthen the skin. It's non-greasy so is fine to apply overnight and go to sleep with which is what I did.
The inclusion of jojoba oil and shea butter and fantastic at sealing the skin to retain moisture and protecting it.

It is great

It smoothens the body, and I find that the natural smell lingers for long. It is very rich and nourishing. The only negative I could think of is that it is a little bit on the pricey side but totally worth it!
