Good cream, but not perfect
I received Grown Alchemist body cream for free in exchange for my honest opinion. In my opinion this cream moisturizes well and smells great; however, it takes quite a while to absorb into my skin, and it also leaves a bit of a white cast. I probably wouldn't buy this once it runs out.

Relaxing & light, could be more hydrating
Received this for free for an honest review. This body cream is quite light and absorbs quickly, with plant oils to nourish the skin. I like creams to be a bit richer and occlusive, so found myself needing to layer it up a bit for my drier skin. I'd say it's a bit more like a lotion, than a cream. The rosemary makes it quite earthy at first which later lifts to reveal the lovely fresh mandarin scent. Packaging looks great and love the pump!

Herbal Scent
I received a full-size Grown Alchemist Restorative Body Cream from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. Although I love searching out new plant-based formulas, I'm not in love with this restorative body cream. While the mandarin scent is fresh and welcome, the rosemary leaf was too herbal for my liking. The cream promises to absorb into the skin quickly and not leave your skin feeling greasy, but I found my skin felt greasy for a significant amount of time after application, and my skin is dry, so in theory should be thirsty enough to absorb the product and not leave a greasy feeling. I will say that a little product seems to go a long way though and my skin did feel moisturized. While I won't be repurchasing, I know there are lots of people who will appreciate the herbal scent of this cream and perhaps not have the greasy feeling after applying.

Wasn't my favourite scent
I received this product free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. The first thing I noticed was the scent, I wasn't a fan of the rosemary and mandarin smell but a while after applying it, the scent does fade. The body cream made my skin feel super soft and wasn't sticky when it dried but I felt like it needed to be reapplied because it didn't last as long as other creams I've used.

Can't get behind the price
I was okay with the smell of this. It was citrusy, but not as nice as their hand cream. It soaked in well and felt somewhat moisturizing (I did need to keep applying though, as it did not seem to have a long term effect). I liked that it was not greasy and was not too thick. I can't get behind the value - for this price point I feel that the smell needs to last longer or the packaging needs to be nicer (such as a glass bottle that doesn't easily scratch and/or more lux pump). I don't hate the packaging (I actually like that it is minimalist), the plastic just makes it feel much cheaper than it is.

Very hydrating and not sticky
It’s very hydrating and I love the feeling of the body cream, it’s not sticky and feels luxurious! However I can’t get behind the scent. It’s very medicinal. If you like that scent this is definitely the body cream. I would suggest trying it on and smelling it before making the purchase.
