Blurs pores and keeps skin matte

I have combination/dry skin with my cheeks being dry and my T-zone being prone to shine. I also have visible pores on my nose. This primer is a thick gel texture and spreads easily over my skin. It feels velvety on my face and is matte without being drying. It has a blurring effect and my pores were less noticeable. I wore a powder foundation and blush over the top of the primer. There was no piling or flaking. It kept my makeup looking fresh all day and I experienced minimal shine on my forehead and nose.

Lightweight primer to effectively reduces pores

Thanks to Butterly Canada and Grown Alchemist, I received the Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer to try for free in exchange for my honest review.

I have been using this primer for a few days and I honestly love the matte finish and how lightweight it is! While it gives off a light scent that is really pleasant, I really like how it has reduced the appearance of pores and has a strong blurring effect. Perfectly Flawless Skin!

Goes on beautifully, fresh cooling feeling, dries in a matte finish. Blurs imperfections nicely. It made my makeup last perfect all day! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a makeup primer. The environmental protection is a added benefit!

Smooth primer

I was very impressed with this new Grown Alchemist primer. It applied smoothly and kept my makeup in place all day under a mask at work. When applied it had a slight tingly mint sensation and a great herbal scent like other Grown Alchemist products do.

Normally, I steer clear of blurring primers because they tend to feel too heavy on top of my extensive skincare routine, leading to pilling and a cakey makeup finish. But omg! This primer is unreal! Makes makeup look amazing!

This primer helps my makeup look so much better! It does a really good job at smoothing and blurring my pores while creating a nice matte base for makeup. I like using more radiant and dewy finishes in foundation, so I find that this primer really balances out my skin so it does not look oily. It also helps to make my makeup last longer, and look fresher throughout the day. I also really appreciate that it provides a protective barrier for my sensitive skin from any harsh environmental exposure. It is lightweight and easy to apply, while still being hydrating.

The bestest primer ever!

This primer is by far the BEST primer I have EVER used. Right from the scent to the application this primer has changed my total make up look. Thank you so much for this great product!! I have been trying to find a good primer and now I can say I have. My skin looks flawless! This primer is great for my skin as I have some bumps and porey skin love the Matt finish and is so hydrating. Easy to apply scent isn't strong but what you can smell is amazing. Totally in love!

Best for Pores!!!!

Firstly, it does an excellent job of supporting the skin's moisture barrier, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and supple throughout the day..
