so worth a try

I was fortunate enough to have been gifted this product to try and I am so happy I was. I was not in the market for a new primer and now I have replaced a favourite of mine for this one. It is everything you need in a primer and it is great at protecting my skin from all the toxins and pollutants that are out in the air. I cannot recommend it enough. If you are hesitant the light weight feel of it and the great price value should sell you on it alone such an amazing high-quality product.

Looks & feels great!

I am very happy with this product! I apply it following my moisturizer and before foundation. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft, with a matte finish. It absorbs immediately and has a nice mild scent. This primer has become a staple in my morning routine :)

10/10 most natural feeling primer!!

10/10 amazing facial skin primer! Hands down. Generally I don’t prefer squeeze bottles, but this product is just too good. It is like a thick paste but applies as a lightweight, silky smooth texture. It has a cool, soothing temperature when applied. I use it under my foundation and it instantly mattifies my pores and blurs redness and imperfections. It literally melts into your skin, with no cake. It’s one of the most natural feeling primers I’ve ever tried.

It does come with a hefty price point - $53.00🇨🇦 @sephoracanada, but I think it’s worth it.

👎Only downside I think is packaging… it looks pretty, but the squeeze is not my thing - I find I waste more product this way.

Nice surprise

I received this product as a free product from Butterly . First, I have been looking so long for a primer that didn't thick my skin when I apply my long lasting foundation. This primer do its job so perfectly. Reduce fine line, blur imperfections and smooth the skin. It's a kind of balance not to matte for dry skin and not oily for combined skin. Just the amount of benefits your skin need.

I found this felt so lovely on my skin, it was smooth and had a silky feel to it
It blended in seamlessly and felt super lightweight, seems like it will be a welcome addition to my routine

Super light weight

I’m shocked at how light weight this primer is. The texture is paste like but it goes on your skin completely smooth. You can not feel any difference at all. It smells very refreshing and clean. I think this will be a game changer to wear under foundation on a hot summer day. So far with it being winter, I haven’t noticed much difference but in the summer I think this will be a must have! Thanks to Butterly for letting me try this for free.

Absolute must have

I received this Skin Defense Primer for free from Grown Alchemist and Butterly for testing and review purpose. Grown Alchemist Primers is by far the best primer I have tired/ used to date. It's a lightweight thick clear balm, that goes on smoothly everywhere on your face. A little goes a long way to cover your entire face (using a pea size will do the trick). It has a light citrus scent which is so refreshing. Makes your skin feel hydrated, soft and reduces the appearance of pores. Allows for foundation to appear flawless and increasing the wear time of my makeup application. It helped to keep my makeup looking fresh all day until I removed my makeup. I absolutely love this product and will defiantly be something I purchase more regularly going further. The fact that Grown Alchemist is a cruelty-free company also is a huge benefit to me.
