I absolutely love this Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer that I got for FREE from Butterly Grown Alchemist. After using the Primer before applying my makeup, it reduced the look of pores and created a smooth even surface to apply my makeup, which glided in super smooth and held my makeup in place all day and all night. Not a single smudge or touch up required. I think I'm in love!

Amazing Primer

What an amazing primer! The scent is nice and light, which is wonderful. This primer though has something in it that makes it cooling, and let me tell you, it is so refreshing!! Putting it on instantly wakes me up, and my skin is nice to the touch. Makeup also sits well on it, but on days when I go no makeup, I would still use this primer!

I have to admit, after using this primer on my skin, I'm obsessed. It is an excellent product that leaves the skin feeling remarkably hydrated. My skin was incredibly smooth and silky. It effectively blurred my pores and prepped my skin for makeup application. My skin looked stunning with my foundation on it. I adore how lightweight it is. This product has a really pleasant scent that wasn't at all overpowering. I have used many primers, but this one is the finest by far, thus I heartily suggest it to everyone.

Great base under makeup

I am very grateful to Grown Alchemist and Butterly for sending me this free product in exchange of my honest review!
This Skin Defense Primer is great to minimize pores and it let the skin feeling smooth after application. The ingredient list is supposed to help the skin barrier and defends from pollution.
When you apply it, it mattify and blurs the imperfections. Makeup applies well on top of it, but it doesn't 100% control my oils (as my skin can be very oily, I'm not so surprised). Also, the citrus scent is strong but I like it!
And you have a lot of product, usually a primer is 30ml and this one is 50ml.

Grown for my needs, a product that does so much.

I love the subtle smell that awakens my senses like a fresh breeze. I am totally surprised by how it simply melts on my skin. Only a small amount is needed and it glides so easily. It feels like water and has a refreshing affect, almost astringent. It gives my skin a matifying effect and my pores and fine lines are less visible. My skin feels comfortable all day and it doesn't get dried up by the indoor heating or the cold and wind when I enjoy the outside anymore.
I have been using it 3 ways: alone, after applying spf or moisturizer, and as a primer before makeup. In all situations, the results are the same: it feels light and I forget I wear it, but I know I do because my skin feels amazingly fresh. In fact, my makeup is more easily applied and the results are better and it lasts all day: no more shininess at the end of the day. Who would have known that a product could do so much! It is now part of my daily routine and I will not go without. To you all, I warmly recommend it.

A must add to your makeup routine

I absolutely loved this primer! I wasn't using primer in my daily makeup routine before this but it's a must add now for me. It applies so easily and smoothly. It has a fantastic clean light scent as well I loved. It made my makeup look a lot smoother and cleaner. It also made my face feel more moisture and just overall better at the end of the day. You just need a little dab and it makes such a difference!

The Perfect First Step to My Daily Makeup

am so beyond pleased with the results with this primer. It goes on so smooth and sets very quickly. I love the matte finish my skin has before applying my daily makeup.

It lasts all day keeping my skin looking flawless and my makeup stays put all day long. It really does moisturize my skin too which is an added bonus.

It has a very clean and light scent which I really like too. Not too overpowering just the perfect amount of soft scent.
