Flawless ALL Day

I recently took this primer on vacation to the Dominican Republic, and it was a game-changer! The cooling effect upon application was refreshing, especially in the hot and humid climate. Despite the challenging conditions, my makeup lasted longer than usual. I noticed a significant blurring effect, especially when applied both before and after foundation. The lightweight formula felt comfortable on my skin, and I appreciated that it's silicone-free. Plus, the adaptogens like Reishi Mushroom and Ashwagandha seemed to strengthen my skin barrier, which is a big bonus. Overall, I'm impressed with how this primer smoothed my skin and helped my makeup stay put, making it a must-have for my beauty routine. An amazing primer!

Have you tried Growing Alchemists Anti-Pollution Primer before? Well it’s back with an upgraded formula and new name. Now called Skin Defense Primer. This primer claims to strengthen the skin barrier over 12 hours for the ultimate defense. And they are right! The first time I used it I had a very long day and I was shocked at how my makeup looked at the end of it- I still had makeup on! I couldn’t believe how lightweight it was and smooth. It instantly blurred my pores and left it feeling silky. My makeup glided on more smoothly and stayed in place!

Skin defense Primer

Good Primer

It’s a good primer. Lightly scented with a buttery texture. Worked well under my makeup and I found my skin was not as greasy by midday. The only thing I didn’t like it would clump a bit when applying to my skin. It’s a thicker primer and you really have to rub it in

Great skin smoothing primer!!

I generally love the brand clean alchemist and the fact that it IS a clean brand, and this product did not disappoint. I LOVE this primer, I have oily combination skin and large pores on my cheeks and forehead and you could see as you put it on the primer blurring and smoothing your skin! I put it on in the morning and really felt like it was still working after my full shift at work. Didn't feel heavy on my skin or leave my pores feeling clogged. Omg

The smell of this primer is absolutely amazing! It's not over powering but it's sooooo relaxing. I absolutely love natural scents and this primer delivers. The primer is also a really great primer. I love wearing it with or without make-up. Even without make-up this primer hid my pores and made my fine lines look less intense. I would absolutely recommend this primer to anyone who is looking to try something different.

Goes on smooth and hides pores

Love love love this ! It’s my first time trying Grown Alchemist and it’s fantastic. I’m pretty minimal when it comes to a skincare routine but I love that this creates a nice barrier between my skin and the environment. I love squeeze tubes too because I can get every drop of the product out, unlike bottles.

Pure magic in a bottle!!

I absolutely love the @grownalchemist brand, both philosophy and products (not to mention their super aesthetic and minimal packaging). So you can imagine I was ecstatic to try their new primer for free in exchange for my honest review!

First impressions- wow just WOW! This is the most unique primer I have ever tried. From the fresh lightweight scent, luxuriously thick texture, to the instantly hydrating, plumping, cooling, and mattified finish it gives the skin, yet still has a bit of a sparkle to it. This product is amazing on its own to even out the shininess on your face, or under makeup to hydrate and prep the skin for a full 12h day of makeup. Also bonus it is meant to protect your skin and create a barrier from the elements, dirt etc! Just pure magic in a bottle that I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out!! 😍
