Fantastic Makeup Primer

I received this product for free from Butterly Marketing for testing and review purposes. The packaging is pretty. It’s a good size at 50ml. The product is clear, lightly scented and feels hydrating on the skin. It’s easy to apply and makeup looks flawless over top. I apply it daily in the morning before my makeup. The Perfect Primer

I've been loving the way my makeup looks after using this primer. I have normal but sensitive skin and haven't had any issues using this primer like I have in the past with other primers. It made my skin look glowy and super smooth, so this is a new addition to my routine. Definitely give it a try!

Great blurring primer!

I have been testing out this primer for a few weeks and have to say I am pretty impressed! In true Grown Alchemist fashion, it has a very unique scent and an amazing texture. It feels so silky smooth and absolutely glides across my skin as I apply it. It is incredibly lightweight and acts as a great buffer between my skin and makeup. It feels pretty hydrating as well and did not cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. Even before applying foundation, my skin felt so soft and smooth to the touch and I love that it also protects my skin barrier against pollution and environmental aggressors. My foundation applied perfectly on top of the primer and I noticed quite a noticeable difference. It smoothed all the texture of my skin and helped to reduce the appearance of my fine lines and pores. My makeup lasted all day and still look freshly applied plus I noticed it really helped to keep a matte finish over the patches of my skin that tend to get oily throughout the day. I am very happy with this primer and its results and will definitely continue to use this as my daily primer!

Love it! Long lasting formula

I recently tried this and was really impressed. It's lightweight and went on really smoothly. A little went a long way and its gel like consistency was easy to apply.My Make up went on smoothly and this primer really help to make it last - even after a full day of work and chasing after my children and dog. I really appreciate that it is silicone free. I have combination skin and this did not leave my skin overly dry or oily - in fact it seemed to help keep the oil at bay and retain a matte look.

must try primer for oily skin babies!

This primer is silicone free and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily and didn't make me breakout like some other brands I've used. I was already a fan of this brand and love that they came out with a primer that is also great for the skin with adaptogens. This light citrusy scented primer has a clear jelly-like consistency that quickly melts into the skin. It gives a blurring effect that made my pores less visible, skin less oily, and gave my foundation a smooth, well blended look. I use this after my moisturizer, a little goes a long way. My makeup stayed put, even after several hours, which would normally come right off if I was using another brand of primer. Definitely would recommend this primer if you're looking for a silicone free primer with great skin benefits!

It's a so-so primer for the price

I initially liked the primer because the product applied nicely and smoothly on skin. It reminds me of the Smashbox primer. Almost silicon-like. It had a tiny bit of a blurring effect so I had high hopes

for it.
I tested this primer over 6 days with 3 different foundations. My foundation kept cracking and splitting the longer the day went. It highlighted my wrinkles and my pores as the day went on. It wasn’t great with my stick foundation, my light coverage liquid foundation, or my full coverage liquid foundation. I could not make the primer work for me. With ny combo skin, my oily zones would glisten at the end of the day, and my dry areas were patchy.

I think if you don’t have as many problem areas to cover like I do, this primer might work for you. I also found out that it costs $53 (I swear it was $51 last night), and there are better primers out there for cheaper.

Must Have!

The texture is sort of buttery with an amazing smell! If you are looking for a new primer, this is definitely at the very top of my list. My skin feels so smooth and hydrated, with or without makeup. Definitely will rave about this primer, and it will be a part of my daily routine.

Primed and ready to rock!

This amazing primer. I cannot say enough good things about it love it! So beautifully smooth on my skin with a sweet light scent. Beautiful even finish with a healthy glow. I won hundred percent recommend this product and will absolutely be purchasing it again well before I run out, it’s a must have ladies.. Especially enjoyed it, and the protection that provides during a harsh cold snap of -20°C. I am for sure. Can hardly wait to see the results of the protection and strengthening that this primer offers during our summer months.
