Messy
It's to be expected but the dye got everywhere. Sink, arms, and walls (don't know how). It was a pain to hold my hair down in the tin foil and paint it red, but I managed.
After I washed it out I kept having to rinse and rinse for 5 minutes or so because there was still red dripping from my hair. I should've just stopped even though it says to rinse out until the water runs clear.
At first I loved how bright it turned out, but then after putting in the conditioner and washing it out again, it dulled a bit to a fake synthetic red. It's still pretty but I have a feeling the red isn't going to last long. since it came out a bit already.
I do like the simplicity of not needing to mix anything and the instructions actually had proper instructions, though they should've wrote to do the conditioner after the dye instead of on the conditioner packet in case someone doesn't read that or forgets.
Smells fine, good for a semi-dye and didn't dry out my hair.I love that I can keep the rest I didn't use for when the red comes. It came out good pretty much like the colour on the box so I'm happy. #gotitfree
i dont hate it
i would probably buy this stuff again since there isnt much out there for options.
my daughter seems to like it.
but u definetely need to bleach your hair first
If only there were more dye included!
I have used several brands of semi-permanent dyes and this one by Got2b is by far my favorite! I couldn't believe how well it stayed put when I was showering and how gorgeous the color was.
The only complaint I have though - NOT ENOUGH DYE IN THE BOX!!! I barely had enough to cover the parts that I bleached! If it included more dye I would definitely have this be my go-to.
Not A Success
Unfortunately, the product did not work well - only a little bit of blue stayed.
I lightened my hair and then the next day used the full box of the blue dye on my hair. I was surprised to find that only a small amount of blue remained in my hair after washing it. I followed the instructions perfectly, but it didn't turn out anything like the box image.
I don't have long hair, but I felt like there just wasn't enough product. That said, if someone had a pixie cut or similar, I think they'd be considerably more successful.
It was ok, didn’t seem to fully color my hair.
I had the opportunity to try the got2b Lightened and got2b Creative in Luxurious Red free from ChickAdvisor. My results will probably be quite different then other people’s as I had dyed my hair black a few months ago and the instructions say to apply the Lightener on non dyed hair. I have never lightened my hair at home before so the instructions were a little intimidating but overall fairly straight forward. After leaving the Lightener on for the recommended 45 min, I washed it off. My hair was an interesting combination of yellow, orange and black which honestly I was expecting. The Lightener has worked quite well on my roots so I knew the vibrant red color would show up well. I decided on using the red without any of the pastel color mixed in. It turned out pretty good. The red was very vivid only the coverage wasn’t great. There were parts of my hair that had little to no red colour. I love the red that did end up in my hair. It’s a product that I will probably give another chance.
Beautiful color
I really liked this product, i tried the shade 96, i decided to do not bleach my hair and don't use the pastel paste, so i kept the regular dark blue, and i loved it!!
A few things i didn't enjoy, the instractions, because they weren't very clear, even if it was easy to understand, and the bad smell that i kept for two days with me, that gave me an headache.
Anyway, i suggest this product!
Best blue ever
So I have to admit , blue hair dye was pretty intimidating to me, and after staring at the box for a week I decided to dive in ! I did spot test on my kids hair to get an idea of what I was getting myself into haha! As stated on the box, on natural untreated hair, the result was pretty minimal. I got brave ! I did my ends with full strength electric blue, followed by about a tablespoon of pastelizer mixed into the blue and applied above the ends , and then the rest of the pastelizer into some more blue and applied from root to tip, laying it over top the bright blue at the ends. This whole process took maybe 5 mins. I have incredibly processed hair, so this colour was grabbing quick. After rinsing and conditioning I was left with the most BLUETIFUL (see what I did there haha) , ombré hair! It looks professional and healthy and definitely makes a statement. After a few washes now it's fading ever so flawlessly and looking pale blue, which I'm loving !! I so appreciate the opportunities that chickadvisor offers us chicks !!! I would be too nervous to just grab a blue hair dye and give it a try! I did send my hairdresser the ingredients... to make sure I wasn't severely destroying what she has spent years fixing hah, and she was pretty comfortable with what was in the box! My hair looks even healthier than before and I feel like I will absolutely be trying the rest of the colors in the collection!! #gotitfree #butwouldpayagainandagain

Pure amazing!
This hair dye did what it was supposed to do. It didn't damage my hair extensions and the color came out very beautiful and vivid and bright. If anything, after using this hair dye my hair extensions actually feel healthier!!!! Highly reccomend this brand!
Super fun and smells great!
I used the Perky Purple for my hair. My friend who is a hair stylist applied the product for me. I have natural, medium-to-dark blonde hair so I did not use the bleach before applying the colour. 1 tube was enough to give me a few peek-a-boo strands which is exactly what I wanted! From a stylist's perspective, the colour was easy to apply and spread well, having a brush and tray was a bonus and the product smelt AMAZING - nothing like you would expect a box of hair dye to smell. It was also nice that the pastelizer was included in the kit (a little bit of pastelizer was used on my hair to tone down the boldness). I would definitely use this product again.
Good for a days use
I was excited to receive this product as part of the product review club, as I love having colours in my hair. I have a medium brown hair and it surprisingly showed up without having to lighten it. I didn’t use the pastel colour, just the regular and it showed up as a pretty blue/grey color. My only criticism is that it completely washed out after the first wash.
