It definitely lightens!

My hair colour was initially dark brown - almost black. It’s pretty much virgin as the hair I coloured had not previously coloured. I used the product on my entire head and although it was my first time using a lightener at home and it came out a little uneven probably because of my skills, I was impressed at how quickly it worked and the hair was processed. Because of this I left it on for the minimum time given on the box. I got scared of what colour I might end up with if I left it longer. Either way, it was a decent product and I’d probably use it again! I appreciate having been given the opportunity to try this for free. My hair ended up being a light golden brown definitely several shades lighter.

need a stronger solution

The box comes with an applicator bottle with developer lotion, a tube of lightening cream, a packet of booster, plastic gloves, and a sachet of color after treatment. I only wanted some sections of my hair bleached so I separated my hair where I want it to be lightened. The instructions were pretty clear and it was very easy to mix together the ingredients. The applicator bottle with the pointed tip made it easy to apply the lightener to the roots.
I only lightened mine for around 30 minutes because it's a new product and I don't want to accidentally screw up my hair. It started to work really well with the parts of my hair that were already pre-lightened from previous dyeing sessions. Unfortunately for the darker parts, it didn't really work very well. My hair just lightened to a red-brown. My hair is pretty coarse and thick so I would've needed to lighten it for 45 minutes to 1 hour, maybe more. However, the package said to not exceed 45 minutes so I don't know if it will even work. I might need to do a bunch of lightening sessions and a few boxes to get the desired results. If that's the case, then I might as well buy another product that's stronger and would work better.
After I rinsed off the lightener, I used the color after treatment to protect my hair. It smelled nice and my hair felt soft and silk afterwards.

habituellement je me palie pas mes cheveux car je trouve que sa rend les cheveux fragile et cassant apres. Avec se produit wow mes cheveux etais vraiment plus pale et en plus il avait un apparence saine et nous toute grichoux. Je le recommende !!

Pleasantly surprised by color pay-off

I #gotitfree, along with got2b Electric Blue, in exchange for my honest review.
I applied this just to the tips of my hair, about 1.5 inches near the bottom. I have dyed my hair at home in the past, but only a shade darker; for anything more dramatic, I have only ever trusted professionals. However, even with my limited experience, this product was easy to use.
My hair is naturally a dark brown. I did not leave this product in too long for fear of damage. Of course, some damage is always to be expected, whether lightening at home or in a salon.
Overall, I am pleased with this product. The results are similar to when I had my ends lightened professionally, although maybe a little less well-blended, but that is a reflection of my expertise (or lack thereof) rather than the product itself.

Needs more product.

TL:DR - - not enough product for my thin and short hair - - inadequate directions in the pamphlet - - especially when you want to do an ombre look like it offers but really I didn't expect that but it was just lacking - - gloves included were huge, thin plastics so use your own rubber gloves trust me - -

Amazing product!

I have very dark brown hair and it never lightens well or easily. When I tried the Got2B Lightened product after 45 minutes it was a lot lighter than I was expecting. It made it easier for the second color to show. I really liked this product and it didn't feel very harsh or dry on my hair which I have found with out products I have tried. I truly recommend this one.

Not for dark brown hair

The instructions were easy to follow however I found the quantity was not enough to lighten all of my shoulder length hair so I decided to lighten just the strands. Since my hair is already so dark, I didn't find that it lightened my hair much at all, which was very disappointing since I wanted to dye my strands red afterwards and wanted it to be a vibrant colour. I'm glad I #gotitfree to try but feel like it would work better on people whose hair is already blonde.

I have been searching high and low for a lightener that would lighten my hair enough for the colour to show up as much more than a tint, and this is it! I have tried countless lighteners in the past and none of them provided such an easy application, as well as incredible lift; I would definitely recommend this product to friends!

Not bad!

I was nervous using this product because I have never lightened my hair before, but it turned out to be easy to use and I didn't feel like my hair was very damaged after! I used this before coloring my hair with got2b creative and I got noticeable results, even on my really dark hair!

Bien décoloré

Mes cheveux ont bien été décoloré par ce produit. Il n'a pas laissé mes cheveux secs ce qui est très bien. Malgré mes cheveux fins ça a bien fonctionné. Le produit est facile d'application, c'était ma première fois et je n'ai eu aucun problème. Je recommande ce produit à tous.
