I wasn’t expecting much but wow

I received this for free from Chickadvisor and I was very excited to see if it would work on my medium brown hair or not. Firstly the lightening product, I have always been afraid to use products like these because I always thought they would fry your hair so for mainly that reason I decided to just dye the ends of my hair.

I used this lightening product and the instructions were easy to follow and it was overall easy to do. Make sure your wearing a shirt or are covered by a towel that you don’t mind messing up because it will also change color.

I kept the product on for the maximum time of 45 minutes and I was actually very underwhelmed by the results, it barely changed the color of my medium brown hair so I was not hopeful to say the least about the color dye showing up but boy wasn’t I wrong, the red hair dye actually showed up very bold and I was amazed!

I will defianlty recommend this to others looking for this kind of product and I will for sure use it again myself when wanting to achieve a bold color on my medium brown hair in the future.

Not horrible

The göt2b® Be En-LIGHTENED™ that I received wasn't horrible for a lightener, I guess. It did lighten my hair quite a bit, but the instructions were all over the place for a person who has never lightened their hair before.The contents of the package were shown at the top of the page, but did not match what it was called in the instructions. I probably would've liked this product more if I didn't use the got2b blue hair dye afterwards as there was not enough dye to cover the blond as I had hoped for. However, the toxicity of the lightener was overwhelming. My eyes were burning and I felt pretty lightheaded (no pun intended). This could be a good product if they would match what the competition has on the market nowadays. Thanks anyway Chick Advisor!

i put this product to the test and for the value this product worked well. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the outcome. In the past I always use professional products so I was happy using this product. #got2bmycolour, #MEbyME and #gotitfree

Great 1st experience!

I never bleached my hair before but I had seen my mom do it many times. I was nervous that it would go wrong so I only bleached the tips (1-2 inches) of my hair.
The instructions had pictures at the top but they should have had it written as well for people who don't know what they are doing (add booster into the bottle, and then squeeze the little cream tube into it and shake). They should have a small plastic grip on the clear plastic they had under the cap of the bottle because when I went to pull it out, it pushed it into the bottom of the bottle and I was terrified it would melt or something when I added the rest of the ingredients (I don't think it did, my hair turned out fine).
It lightened my hair not exactly as blonde as the box for brown hair, but it came out a beautiful natural colour that wasn't yellow or ugly. I love the colour and wish I had done more. I appreciated the purple after care packet since I was worried my hair would be straw like (it didn't), but after 2 days I had a lot of split ends (eek!).
I would recommend this to friends and first-time hair bleachers (do a allergy test if you aren't doing just your tips like me). It lifts the layers to a beautiful lightened colour, but if you want it even lighter (light blonde or platinum) you will have to bleach it twice but you won't get that awkward ugly yellow colour while you wait in between bleaching/colouring.

Orange........

So, I got this box of lightener with my electric blue as i was selected to take part in the product review. I was ecstatic as I’m always playing with my hair colours and trying new styles. I did a lot of research before applying this product as blonde is not generally what I do.

I will start by saying that the instructions are extremely confusing. I had to read them numerous times and even still was unsure of what the next step was. The instructions are not even all in one section on the page. Not to mention, the instructions mention nothing about the conditioning which threw me off mid-process, thinking I had forgotten to add something.

When I did get it mixed together, my first question was “how is this going to cover my head?”. I have just recently chopped off my hair to about shoulder length. I’ve used boxed dyes in the past, even with long hair, and have had lots left over. I ran out about halfway through my head with this lightener and found myself sticking my fingers in the bottle desperately trying to finish my hair. If you have longer then shoulder length hair, you will need at least 2 boxes but i would say it’s safe to say 3.

The product itself wasn’t bad. It smelled quite good in comparison to other boxed blondes (the eye burning kind). The dye was quite gritty but I didn’t mind that. It doesn’t spread well though, adding to the lack of product to finish the job.

I experienced no itching or discomfort. I left it on for 40 minutes before washing it out. Immediately I noticed my hair is orange as orange comes. It’s patchy and bronze as ever. But oddly enough, on the roots it’s a bleached white blonde. I do think that had there been more product supplied in the mixture, the entire head could be achieved to this platinum effect.

The more it dried the more I cried. All I could think to myself was “what on earth have I done”. I had planned on doing the blue the next day, to save the health of my hair but, I couldn’t even look in the mirror with this....bronze orange mop sitting on top of my head. Not reccommended...........and if you do choose to use this lightener. Get an extra couple of boxes. Or at least a backup emergency due to fix the mess it leaves........

Fonctionne bien

Ce produit fonctionne bien mais comme j'ai les cheveux foncés et teints le résultat n'est pas optimal. Étant donné que le but est d'appliquer une teinture par dessus, ce n'est pas si grave. Mais je ne l'utiliserais pas comme base pour devenir blonde par exemple.

best ever

I received this free from chick advisor to test. I have used quite a few different bleaches in the past and this one is by far the best I have used. I was very sceptical I did not think it would make my hair blonde with just one box as my hair is a little long and it was Burgundy color. it was simple to mix all the products and apply to my hair the only problem was the strong smell I had to turn fans on and open windows because of it. it worked very well half of my hair turned blonde and the other half was like a orangy color so I do suggest using two boxes. it did not kill my hair like other bleaches did. I will be using this kind of bleaches in the future for sure and I recommend it highly

Got2b Lightened

I absolutely loved Got2b Lightened! I have used many blondes before and they actually never worked as well as this, I would definitely buy it again in the future!
It was easy to use and worked well.

The only thing I didn’t personally like was the instructions, for some reason I did find some of them to be a little unclear.
