I have long hair & knew with 1 single lightening box that I couldn't lighten my full hair/do ombre. I chose to finish as highlights/streaks. Also, I chose to do highlights/streaks since my hair is a stubborn black that has not held colour well in the past - hoping I'd have enough product to lighten the hair sections properly. I'm grateful the box came with gloves because prior to use, I accidentally touched the mixture & it irritated my fingers, which were swollen a little after. My hair falls almost below my chest & I probably sectioned off too much hair as highlights considering my length. First, I lightened my highlight sections using the Be-Enligtened Heavenly Blonde before applying the colour. I had too many highlights so didn't use enough of the lightener on each strand. Because of this, the Electric Blue didn't dye my hair strands as vibrantly as I hoped for in some sections. The end result gave be deep tones of peacock feather colour hair, in some parts blue, teal, green & some gold. I was hoping for proper "electric" blue highlights but will probably buy this product to use it properly with less hair sections. There was a heavy chemical smell during lightening application & a little milder smell left over after rinsing. I didn't mind the smell of the actual colour. Good way to play around with hair colour! Regardless, I love the end result!! Thank you for letting me try!!

Le Lightened a été utilisé sur des cheveux brun foncé et le résultat est très bien sortie. Un blond très jolie sur lequel j'ai appliqué une couleur rouge. Très pratique pour pâlir les cheveux foncé avant une couleur éclatante.

Surprisingly effective on dark hair

I have tried this product in order to apply a blue color to my hair. As a first step, it is important in order to make the color stand out. I was very skeptical because my hair is very dark. But it was very effective! It helped me achieve the result I wanted.

Works great

This lightening kit works great, even on darker hair. It gives a nice color without brassiness. It works great on its own or as a base before applying dramatic colors to help them stand out more

Not for my hair colour

I received this product for free through @Chickadvisor. I really couldn't get much coverage as my hair is thick and shoulder length. I started from a dark brown base, to a reddish colour. My hair wasn't lightened enough to be able to apply a semi permanent colour afterwards. I was a bit disappointed.

Le mélange se fait vraiment bien et que dire de l'application! Pour obtenir le résultat auquel j'aspirais, je l'ai laissé agir plus longtemps que ce qu'il est recommandé.

Works great!

This product worked pretty much exactly how I hoped it would! I have very dark brown hair so I had to let the bleach sit for quite a while, so I just kicked back and relaxed while the product worked its magic. It provided a great base for colour.

I was honestly nervous to use this product because I have dark brown hair and was not sure of how it would turn out, and I was pleasantly surprised! It didn't turn out copper like I was worried about. I would definitely use it again in the future if I need to lighten my color.

Good way to lighten hair

I #gotitfree with the product review club. This was my first experience using lightening products and it was very easy to use. All the necessary materials were there so it was very easy to use. It helped to lighten my dark brown hair to a shade that could take the got2b creative shade!

I love this product.

Well for starters, it did what it said it would. My hair was nice and lightened. I do dye my hair, so it effected that a little, but I got the other color over very nicely thanks to the lightener.
