Didn't work for me

I was rather nervous about using this, as I haven't dyed my hair in years so it felt like a huge commitment. I decided to just do a streak, and I'm so glad because it didn't work at all for me. It turned my hair from brown to.. brown but slightly less dark. Luckily, my colour ended up working even on the dark hair so it didn't matter!

Ok comment scrapper des cheveux 101! Je le recommande pas. Le résultat était affreux, je m'attendais a plus de ce type de produit. Je vais me retournee vers d'autre type de teinture a l'avenir.

Not good

I’ve never tried lightening products from a box before, and after this experience, I will be quick to think about it again... I typically go to a salon for my work. I got to try out GOT2B Lightened free as part of the product review club #gotitfree.

I already have ombré hair myself (which is overly dry as it is), and my job requires me not to have any sort of fancy colour, so I opted to give this one to my friend instead. This product was being used to bleach out darker hair (almost black). We left it in for about an hour, then gave up with waiting. The product wasn’t strong enough to take out much of the colour. It was left a slightly lighter brown shade on the bottom layer (because it was left in a little longer), however still not a shade we could work with. I’m under the assumption that it’s meant for people with much lighter hair tones than my friend. The box claims in can lift up to 8 tones, I’m guessing on someone that’s already blond, or has a much lighter hair colour. I will be dying her hair black again in another week to cover up the damage we did with this experiment..

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend. It was free, so there really wasn’t much harm in trying it. Sad we couldn’t use the other product though..

Quand une mèche devient marbrée au lieu d'être éclairci également y'a un problème... et j'en ai déjà fait souvent avant, donc ce n'est pas un problème d'utilisation. Le résultat était affreux, j'avais hâte de le caché avec le rouge.... qui lui aussi à gâcher le final
Je n'utiliserai plus jamais ce produit, il ne convient pas à mes cheveux.

No customer service, one box doesn't do short hair

I am not impressed at all about Got2B's bleach. I'm even less impressed by Got2B's customer service. Or lack there of.

I have very short thick dark brown hair. There wasn't enough product to cover it all. The shape of the bottle also made it difficult to even squeeze the product out.

There wasn't enough instruction on exactly how light your hair should be before using Got2B's brighter colours provided. Had I known my hair should have been a paler blonde instead of a light orange, I never would have bothered dying my hair further. I answered the survey describing my hair colour and the makers of Got2B should have known that a second box of lightener was required to get my hair to the desired lightness before colouring.

I also found it hard to tell where I applied the lightener. There should have been more of a tint to it to be able to tell where it went on my hair. I also found the hair 'conditioner' (it's technically not a conditioner) awkward to use since you had to wash the bleach out first, step out of the shower and then towel dry your hair, step back in the shower and apply the 'conditioner'.

I sent an email to Got2B's customer service about 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a reply. I think that's pretty subpar customer service.

I would most definitely never buy this product in the future. In fact, I'm having second thoughts about ever buying another product from Schwarzkopf ever again.

Il aurait fallu trois boites...

J'ai les cheveux au épaules et sérieusement, il aurait fallu trois boites pour en venir à bout. J'ai été capable de décoloré seulement de dessus et je dis bien décoloré et non avoir l'air blonde! ca n'a fait que pallir ma couleur et même pas de facon uniforme. j'ai des mèches plus foncés que d'autre.
Les instructions pourraient être simplifiés et j'aurais aimé qu'ils me dise si je devais faire le traitement après coloration vu que je mettais une autre couleur après.

not up to standard

i got the got to be enlightner and went and put the whole box on my head it didnt cover my long hair next time if i bought this i would buy 2 boxes as my hair is long and now my hair is blotchy and spotty .

I would not use this with brown hair

I was super excited about trying this product unfortunatly i recently had my hair done in blue black so the color would not work on me. My sister has medium brown virgin hair. Who better to use this for!!! There is not enough actual product and it left her hair looking patchy!! Also... When trying to wash it out it felt like sand. I would not suggest this to anyone who isnt already a very light blonde. My poor sister looks like a cheetah!
