Glowing

I received this foundation to review and I absolutely love it! Goes on smooth and makes my skin glow. Lives up to the name by giving you a natural not overdone look. Great coverage will be my new go to foundation.

Lasts a long time

I tried Guerlain L'Essentiel Natural Glow Foundation in the shade 00C (Porcelain Cool).

The foundation has a light to medium coverage that is buildable. It goes on smoothly and blends well. It is very light on my skin and feels barely noticeable. It does not dry out my skin or make my dry patches more noticeable, which is something I have problems with when I use some other foundations. It also gives my skin a nice natural glow, just as the name describes.

The foundation has a pleasant light scent, however, I prefer my cosmetics and skin care unscented as I am sensitive to a lot of scents. I was happy to find that although this foundation is scented, it does not cause any negative reactions.

This foundation lasts the whole day on me and does not become patchy or dry. I do use a primer underneath and a setting spray.

Overall, I liked the coverage of this foundation and the natural glow it gave my skin. I also like that it is made with 97% naturally derived ingredients. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Great match

The l’essential natural glow foundation provides full coverage that is long lasting. It’s a pump dispenser with a unique bottle design. It was simple to work with the use of a foundation brush or finger to apply to my face. The shade I got matched my skin tone. The finishing touch is a dewy look that’s not cakey or oily. There is a scent that’s alright. It also contains spf 20 for added sun protection.

So lightweight!

I’m really into this foundation. It goes on surprisingly with a lighter coverage than I expected, but that honestly thrills me as I’m not super into fuller coverages. This is also more of a luminous/natural finish, not matte, exactly what I’ve been looking for! I always want my face to still look like my face at the end of whatever I’m doing to it!

Other reviews have mentioned this foundation to be thin (as in watery) and I found it to be the complete opposite. I pumped this onto my hand and it stayed in a stiff peak (think meringues lol), but spread really easily and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Writing this review, it literally feels like I have nothing on my face!

It is a very light weight foundation. It looked very natural on my skin and didn't look cakey at all. It has a light to medium coverage but is buildable. The dewy finish was just like I wanted. It has a nice scent to it.

Quite good

This foundation has a lovely natural finish that is not matte or dewy. I prefer this it for no-makeup makeup days because it's not noticeable on the skin whatsoever. It’s not very liquidy so you won't use much, which is a positive as the bottle will last you a while.All in all, it's a good foundation, but it didn't knock my socks off.
