    These take a long time to grow. You need to plant them early and cut them down after the first frost in the fall. They taste sweeter that way. These are easy to grow and freeze well. Kiddo thinks they look cool on the stalk as they grow and eats them. I think it makes a difference that he helps right from planting seed to harvest. Yup my kid who is 5 eats Brussels sprouts. These are that tasty.
