I could have gone without that

I had high hopes of eating a tasty dessert when I bought Halo Top Caramel Macchiato at Walmart. It's more expensive than other ice cream tubs of a similar size ($6.47), and I was not impressed by its taste. It tastes like a watered down Starbucks Caramel Macchiato that was left in the freezer for a week. I will not repurchase this particular flavour again.

If you like caramel, then you need to try this! It is creamy & yummy & pure heaven. This is a nice treat for when you are craving something sweet. Love it!

Expensive but healthy and delicious

The taste was very accurate to caramel macchiato and there were even caramel swirls in the ice cream. Texture wasn’t icy unlike other brands and it was creamy but of course not as creamy as real ice cream. Would def buy again if I had the budget but I am pretty happy about the macros per serving!

I would not purchase this flavour again.

I am going to start off by saying that I am not a regular coffee drinker but I do love a good caramel macchiato. This ice cream does not have a strong coffee flavour but I found it had a very artificial taste to it. The texture was very light and creamy but it seemed to melt really fast! The caramel flavour also has a very salted caramel vibe going on which I normally love but I just feel that this one had a weird aftertaste.

Overall, I will most likely not purchase this flavour of Halo Top again and will stick to some other brands that I know I love the taste of despite them being more calories.

Lacks coffee flavor

This is probably my least favorite Halo Top flavor. It is only slightly coffee flavored and very artificially sweet. There are almost no detectable chips at all. Skip this one - go for the Candy Bar flavor instead!

Great "light" ice cream option

I originally had no intention of trying this brand - as sugar alcohol is one of the ingredients and this can have a negative effect on the digestive system. But I have been eating a lot of ice cream this summer and decided to see if I was missing out on anything.

The texture was very light, not dense like Hagen-Dazs. It was very aerated and even the pint felt light compared to other brands. There was a mild espresso flavour and the caramel was sweet and slightly salty.

I was impressed that there was no weird after taste, and overall I thought it was a great flavour. I did notice that it melted quickly, however, and I was eating it inside after taking it directly out of the freezer, so it wasn't like I was eating it outside on a hot day. The downside to having it melt quickly is that it has a very foamy texture after it melts, which I did not like.

Overall, I probably wouldn't buy this again, I will stick to my Hagen-Dazs.

Its Like I am Drinking A Macchiato!!!

I bought this because it was the cheapest price I have seen it since my local store has sold them. It was on sale from $6.99 to $4.99. I like the flavour of it as it is smooth, creamy and rich. It does taste like a macchiato however, it is nothing special and feel it could have been done better. I wouldn't buy it over some other flavours I like.

OMG! The best

The halo top ice cream is a dream. Low fat, low sugar and low calorie ice cream with a taste that so close to higher fat ice creams you'd never know the difference. I highly recommend.
