Best Affordable Coffee Maker Out There
I lived with a roommate years ago who owned one and I absolutely loved it! When I got my own place it was on the must have list and I've got to say I am still over the moon with this product. Not only can you used K-cups in the single brew side, it also comes with a reusable filter basket so you can use whatever coffee you want! 10/10 would highly reccomend!!
Love it
This is the best coffee maker I have ever had I can either make a pot of coffee or a single cup and when making a single cup I can make up to a 12 oz cup which is great for my big cups and I drink my coffee black so I get a full cup I highly recommend this product to everyone
Glad i bought it
I like this product. Single cup and 12 cup pot. For days when your on the go you only need to brew 1 cup.. and great for other days when you need a pot full of coffee. You can not beat the price
Con.
Single brew is a bit slower of a brew
Better than Kuerig!
My family uses our Hamilton Beach FlexBrew almost daily. We love the dual function it offers. By far, the FlexBrew is better than Kuerig. You can choose between making a pot of coffee or using the special single cup option to make your favorite hot drink.
I absolutely loved using this product as a college student. All of my dorm mates would also use it and thought it was one of the best inventions and at about $60, it was even cheaper than the leading brands yet worked far better.
At one point, there was a leakage problem where water started coming underneath the machine, but by my own admittance, I had not cleaned the machine for quite some time which may have led to this instance.
I was able to contact Hamilton Beach and they sent me a whole brand new FlexBrew for only the cost of shipping, which was only $10!
Super pleased with the FlexBrew!
I have the Hamilton Beach Flexbrew (with the water jug in it). It has a storage bin in the bottom to store the coffee filter or the pod holder (whichever one you are not using).
PROS: Cost! This was a gift, but was under $100.00
It is easy to use
You can use any Pod int
You can use ground coffee
Programmable
Has 3 different sizes
Can use a light or dark brew
CONS: It takes longer to heat up than other brewers
So lots of pros, and only 1 con.
Yes I would definately recommend it
We used to use 2 programmable coffee makers. 1 for coffee and the other for tea. I wanted to find something that did both and found this. Purchased it and after opening it up we ran about 6 cycles of straight water through each side then a few with water and vinegar then a couple more of water to get rid of the "plastic" taste that comes with every coffee maker. This thing makes coffee and tea in no time flat and brews very hot. Not sure if the water is in that 195° F to 205° F recommended temperature range (but seems it) as we haven't measured it yet. I am hard pressed to find flaws in this unit other than when making a single cup of coffee using both the mesh screen filter that comes with it and adding a filter into it the water splatters and makes a bit of a mess. Other than that this unit at $87 at Walmart was a great buy!
I have the option of having a perked coffee in the morning or a keurig k-cup!!! Before I couldnt decide on what I should keep from a keurig and a perker so while we were shopping at walmart we came across this beauty and I'll never buy anything but one of those again! :)
Compact brews kcups or ground coffee heats up quick and coffee is very hot much better then other brands I've had others and got rid of them this one is definitely a keeper
