A Treat for the Lips
I received this lip treatment in an Ipsy Glam Bag and it is one of my favourite moisturizing lip tints. I received it in the Mauve Pink shade and it's very pretty on the lips. The treatment itself applies very smoothly and is not tacky or sticky. My lips feel very hydrated while wearing it but the hydration is not long-lasting so I do need to re-apply it a few times during the day. The only downside is that the scent reminds me of a product I used when I was child. For the life of me I can't remember what that product is and it drives me nuts everytime I use this treatment...lol!
Nice
I like this lip treatment. It gives a nice tint to the lip while moisturizing my lips at the same time. Saves my lips from getting chapped. I bring this with me in my purse everywhere.
Living in northern Ontario I often get dry chapped lips and dry skin. My sister was kind enough to give my a sample size out of her etsy box for me to try. I found it worked amazing! It wasn't greasy or foul tasting. It didn't even have much of a smell which I prefer. It added no colour and did what it was supposed rob. It makes my lips super smooth!
The product smells amazing and absolutely delivered on it's promises of smoother, softer lips.
My main complaint about the product though is the price. I'm one of those people that tends to lose small products, so I'd rather invest $4 on a product that works just as well, as opposed to risking losing $25.
I tried this product for the first time yesterday and already with two uses my lips look and feel visibly smoother. I love winter, but my skin does not! I have cracked lips (sometimes bloody cracked lips) when I wake up in the morning and no matter how often I scrubbed my lips or applied balm or oils, nothing seemed to help.
When I first got the product I applied it right away and noticed a vaseline like texture, but it didn't have the unpleasant feeling of a mask that vaseline ma have.
Before bed, I scrubbed my lips and applied. My lips aren't 100% healed, but I do notice a great improvement from 2 applications.
I had to assume 'lip treatment' meant to apply it like a lip balm, since there were no instructions and the company doesn't have it on their website either. Well, there are good and bad for this mysterious 'lip treatment' and the good is that it did seem to nourish and moisturise my lips quite well. It smells nice too. On the bad side, it's sticky and irritating to apply, but the no instructions thing is what really makes me annoyed.
