I would gladly spend money again on this concealer.
First off, this concealer does not lie, it IS heavy duty.
Pros:
- It is full coverage
- A little bit goes a LONG way
- It’s affordable
- Very useful for blemishes
Cons:
- It does not have a very wide shade range.
- Finds every crease in the undereye very quickly if you do not set it right away
- Very easy to get a cakey look with this concealer
For the coverage and price, I can fairly say I’ll buy it again, which won’t be for a long time because it may not run out before it expires! Don’t recommend it for darker skin people that don’t want bright concealer. I would recommend using it for spot concealing or in places besides the eye.
HARD CANDY GLAMOFLAUGE HEAVY DUTY CONCEALER
As its name suggests, The Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer that very heavy duty, highly pigmented and thick in consistency that is full coverage. I have normal, moderately dry that can be sensitive and this formula creases easily which look and feels dry under my eyes. The pencil that included with it is decent but a stiffer pencil formula. I find the shades very warm and for reference, I am NW 20 skin tone, light with pink undertones (cool).
So if you have pink/ cool undertone it may not be an exact match. That being said this is affordable concealer and you get a lot of product for the price you pay for, which you may not finish the product before it expires as you need very little product each time you use it. Personally, think it better for those who have oily skin with warmer skin tones. Hard candy products are sold exclusively at Walmart in the US and Canada.
Fulllllll coverage
This stuff is opaque, yellow toned, perfect for under eye concealing. The product will last for ever, you only need a tiny tiny bit. I recommend setting this as it takes a while to dry down and will crease under eyes.
Too thick
I heard so many good things about hard candy glamoflauge heavy duty concealer so I decided to try it . I have really red , hyper pigmented , acne prone and scarred skin so I need something that covers well . So this conceals well but unfortunately it's so thick and it doesn't blend easily and just feels so heavy and cakey on the skin . I was disappointed in this . It was only $6 dollars at Walmart so not a huge deal . I'm going to continue to try and work with it and hopefully it will get better .
Great drugstore concealer that actually is full coverage. A small amount goes a long way. Applicator could be better but I just use a concealer brush then blend it out. Definitely needs to be set with a powder.
I was doubtful when purchasing this product as it is a low end, not costly brand but was pleasantly surprised. It is highly pigmented for the price and blends well into my skin. Only a small amount is needed so the tube lasts forever!
I have many concealers in rotation and like this on for redness on my face more than for under my eyes or on blemishes. The size of the tube is very big and you don't need to use a lot.. I don't really use the pencil concealer but it's a nice bonus! I have dry skin and it sits well on my face.
I've been using Glamoflauge concealer for several years now, and I don't intend to stop. It was incredible back when I had horrible acne problems. Now, thankfully, my skin has improved so I definitely don't need to use as much. I do feel that maybe the formula has changed a bit, as it does seem more cakey than in the past, but it still works well. It covers any acne problems that I do have and my redness very well. You can't expect miracles from this, but for $7, it's pretty darn close! This has been, and will remain, a staple in my makeup bag!
This product is a little bit different. It does have a oily consistency to it. A little goes a long way! After I apply it is put a setting powder over all the areas I used this on and it's perfect after. To use alone it is not the best. But because it is cheaper than some concealers it's not too bad.
I've heard so many great things about this concealer, so of course I had to try it. It is super cheap so that's a huge bonus. It works amazing! It really covers up blemishes well and I use it under my eyes as well. A little bit goes a really long way. The first time using it, I thought I took just a small amount, but even then, it was way too much. So start with the tiniest little bit and add more if needed. I found a beauty blender to apply this the best. It worked better than a brush for me. Definitely recommend this product.
