This is a very pigmented concealer! If you need some heavy duty concealing this does the job beautifully. Eventhough it is a liquid I do find it hard a bit hard to blend because of ho pigmented it is. I'm an NC30 and use the tan shade, it matched me in the summer but it's a tad dark for the winter on my skintone. I might buy the medium shade for the winter. Lately I've been mixing a bit of the concealer with some moisturizer just to help it blend and it works well for me since most of what I'm concealing are acne scars which usually get covered if I wear a medium-heavy foundation.
I haven't tried this for my under eyes since I don't have really bad dark circles. Overall I'm really pleased with this concealer, it's cheap and you get a lot of product considering how little you use to conceal all the marks and blemishes on your face.
I love love this concealer. The shade Medium matches my olive NC30 skin very well. I mainly use it to conceal the purplish circles under my eyes, and it does a fantastic job. It has a creamy consistency, but you need to work quickly to blend it as it sets and becomes smudge proof. I only need a small pin drop size of concealer for each eye. The tube will last me forever. I think that this is totally on par in terms of effectiveness and quality as Make Up Forever's concealer, but at a fraction of the price.
Best concealer I have ever used. I have always had dark circles under my eyes and had the hardest time covering them up, but then I found Glamoflauge. Very smooth and effective, and a little goes a long way. I bought it a few months ago and I still have about 2/3 left of it. One con I have is that it has a very think consistency, almost like a light toothpaste, so you may have to mix some face moisturizer with it. Otherwise, i'm obsessed!
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer
A heavy duty multi-use concealer that provides ultimate coverage.
Formula blends flawlessly into skin. Hide everything from dark circles and blemishes to tattoos.
Comes in three shades, light, medium, dark in a 0.71 oz tube, this will last you a long time! You DON'T need alot of this product to cover dark circles or blemishes. A little will go a long way. But it may be to thick for covering the dark circle I would use the pencil.
I like how it comes with a pencil and the tube of concealer.
It does cover a tattoo, but make sure you get the right color, my hubby is white so the color medium was too dark, but it still covered his tattoo.
I would compare this concealer to Kat Von D's tattoo concealer -- seeing as on the box, it tells you that you even conceal tattoos with the Glamoflauge!
I had researched Hard Candy's cosmetics before, and found out that they used to be sold at Sephoras -- huge indicator that their products are good quality. Seeing as they are now sold at WalMart, I decided to give their concealer a try.
The concealer comes with a tube of liquid concealer, and little concealer pencil, which basically looks like a little lip liner , but skin-toned.
This concealer lives up to its "oflauge" name! It really does cover completely and it's huge pigmentations makes sure that it will cover over anything. Its consistency is very thick, and it's more of a dabbing rather than smoothing product.
A little goes a long way, a TINY dab of this concealer will do both eyes, I was SO impressed by how little you need to use !
For extra effectiveness, and small areas, you can use the pencil, which is just as pigmented as the concealer.
This is a huge hit, and at it's inexpensive prices, Hard Candy really takes this one! 5 stars !
This concealer is no joke!!! It is heavy duty and it delivers results. I have it here in the shade Tan. I typically write lots of detailed information about any product I review. But in this case, it's really not needed. Take a look at this post's picture. That is worth a thousand words plus more. This concealer can hide a tattoo! You know, without a doubt, it can glamoflauge any skin imperfections you may have. Judging it's heavy duty coverage, one could think the product would have an extremely thick consistency. Not at all. The concealer has a medium consistency and blends pretty easily. At $6 a tube, this is a steal. Numerous products are out there for tattoo concealment. They tend to cost 4 to 6 times more than this product. Hard Candy Glamoflauge is a grade-A, heavy duty concealer. However, I would not recommend it for someone with minor blemishes and discolorations. This is for extreme coverage! It's totally buildable. Keep blending and applying until you achieve your desired look.
For these pictures, I applied 1/2 of a pea-sized amount to my index finger and blended it out. A little definitely goes a long way. A single tube can probably last 9 months to a year.
This is a great concealer ! It really cover everything dark circle and blemishes really well. There is a really good amount of product in it you will have it for a really long time since you only need a tiny amount for conceal . The only thing im not sure about is about the tattoo concealing, it said that it can conceal tattoo but i don't think so or you will need the whole thing to do so. The price is really good it's really cheap but it's only available at Wal-mart. Overall for the price go get it now because it's really worth it, it's a really great concealer!
Hard Candy Glamoflauge, is designed to cover anything and everything, from Tattoos to Acne. I personally, bought Glamoflauge to try and conceal my under eye circles, which on a scale of one to ten, usually reside around an eight!
The product comes in a 0.71oz tube and comes in three shades, Light, Medium, and Tan. It also comes packaged with a small "tracing" pencil, to basically mark the area you want to cover (i.e a tattoo), in the same color as the actual concealer.
The product does conceal, and quite well, but at a cost. The formula is very greasy and, in my opinion, resembles 'face paint' in consistency. If you have oily skin (such as myself) then this product is going to look, and feel like grease on the skin, and, of course, will crease almost instantly. A trade tip, is to finish the concealer off with a powder, and while it does help, it doesn't fully conceal the sheen of the concealer, which will no doubt, find it's way through even the heaviest powder applications. This brings me to my second issue, the color choices.
I am a very pale person, I am usually never out of the "ivory" categories when it comes to concealers, but with this product I had to go all the way down to the medium, and regret not buying the tan. The color payoff is just way too light to be used for circles, acne, facial issues...without using some sort of darker powder. I can see how it would be beneficial if you were, in fact, using it to cover a tattoo or a scar somewhere else on the body but, it leaves much to be desired 'above the neck'.
Overall, the product does conceal, but not without some personal touches of your own in the form of mixing shades or finishing powder. But, The limited colors and lack of any inclusion of a powder, I would say, Glamoflauge, Fugheddaboutit!
