Best bite, light on flavour

If you’re looking for a strong flavoured chip, this is not the bag for you. These have such a light vinegar taste, I’m not sure I would call it a vinegar chip at all. Now, if you’re like me and find other vinegar chips a little too strong a few bites in, then you might enjoy these. They are personally my favourite brand of chip as I love the thick kettle chip and crunch. I find a lot of their other flavours follow the same flavour style; really really light on the flavour, but a nice “hard bite” on the chip. Despite the light flavouring, these are still my favourite kettle chip!

Very plain

I got it on sale for a dollar. If you're looking for something that taste like salt and vinegar these are not it. They lack in flavour big time, are crunchy and a little greasy.

Best kettle chips!

These are honestly the best chips! I could sit there and eat an entire bag on my own. The salt and vinegar flavour is very similar to ms vickys, but better. The chips are quite crispy, but give the best kind of crunch. Usually salt and vinegar leaves like an acid like burn, but it doesn’t happen as badly with these chips which is great. I highly recommend giving a try. The price can be a bit steeper then a regular bag of chips, but you can buy them on sale often for not too bad of a price. I will definitely be repurchasing!

I don't eat any other chips

I'm not a fan of chips but I decided to try these as they are a local brand. My hubby brought it home one day saying he had a delivery to the company and they gave him to try. It has the best crunch, and flavors are all yummy. Not greasy, and quality is on point. We don't buy any other chips in our home now.

You may or may not like this...

I bought these chips on sale but these chips are quite expensive at regular price. My husband tried these years ago and remembered them to be really good, just like the Miss Vickie's. However, when I had him try these again, he said they are totally not the same from what he remembered. So...

Texture: They are super crispy! The most crispy chips I've ever had.
Color: They are fried to a nice golden yellow color (more so than other brands), which might explain why they are super crispy.
Size: Each chip seems smaller than chips from other brands (maybe it's just my package?)
Flavor: You can taste the vinegar but it is very light. I find that they are almost like original flavor chips with just a hint of flavor. This is where I think you will either like it or not like it. If you find Miss Vickie's salt and vinegar flavor chips to be too strong and prefer something like original flavor with a bit of flavor, then you might really like this. CAUTION: My husband remembered these chips to be packed with flavor (like Miss Vickie's salt and vinegar chips) when he had it years ago. Therefore, I'm not sure if they have since changed the recipe or it may just be the bag I had that was light on flavor?

Since I like full on salt and vinegar flavor, I would not be purchasing this again. But this might be the perfect flavor for some... (assuming they changed the recipe and it was not quality inconsistency).
