I saw this product mentioned in a forum and thought, "wow, placenta?! I gotta put that on my head!" And it turned out that I live close to one of the few stores in town that supplies it. I bought this and the deep conditioning creme. I've only tried this once in an attempt to tame the frizz without resorting to copious amounts of frizz-ease and gel. Just to be clear, my hair is monstrously thick, curly, and dead. This was like spitting at a forest fire. I'm not saying it's not good, just that it's not good enough to stand alone. SIGH. The price is good so give it a shot if you're curious.

Oh, and the back reassuringly states: "Placenta extract is derived from animal placenta. This product is not tested on animals." It also contains Dimethicone, in case you want to avoid that.
