Hatchimals family

The directions were easy to fallow, we loved that it was talking and flashing the eyes thru the egg.They enjoyed waiting for it to open to see which one was inside. Teach children patients and nurturing. You can tell when he is hungry, when he is sad, angry, and happy. I like the booklet that comes with his that lets you know what mood it's in and what to do to make it happy. It comes with little accessories bottle, rattle, and toy that makes it do things and puts it in different moods. It also comes with an off switch so it won't run the batteries down! The quality is great, it doesn't feel cheap, the hatchimal is soft and cute. We loved it!

AWESOME TOY !!!

I received a Mystery HATCHIMAL in the mail for FREE on Oct 19, 2018 from Family Rated. I was excited to be able to review a product for them. My daughter was even happier to know she was getting a HATCHIMAL for FREE and all she had to do was tell Mom what she thought about the toy. So this review has two viewpoints, one from me and another from my daughter who is 6 years old.
I will start with my daughters review. She thinks this toy is AWESOME. She liked rubbing the egg in order to make it hatch. In the baby stage, the HATCHIMAL learned her name, which she thinks is FANTASTIC. She took her HATCHIMAL to school to show everyone that he could say her name. She was so excited to show everyone. She loves this toy and hasn’t stopped playing with it.
My review is: Received this toy, opened it up, read the instructions and proceeded to start. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you HOW LONG it takes for the HATCHIMAL to hatch. That is my only complaint. We weren’t sure if we were going to be sitting there rubbing and playing with an egg for 30 minutes or two days. I had to go online and search for an estimate. Online, people were saying about 30 minutes. Well our HATCHIMAL took about an hour to an hour and a half, which to me is kind of long to be waiting as I would think most kids would give up and walk away or end up breaking it because of anticipation. The quality of the toy is good. It is sturdy and well made. The price is appropriate for the toy and all of its components. I think it’s pretty cool. We liked the hatching process. We like the sounds it makes, how it can walk and fly, that it learned her name or other things she wants to record. Overall, the toy is great and I would recommend to friends and family for sure. I rate this toy a 9.8 out of 10.

Not what we expected.

The toy took forever to hatch. We were unaware that we had to take the top off and pull him out. The instructions are a bit cumbersome. I think they should have a one sheet with instructions as my daughter dropped the paperwork and it was all over. The animal is super soft and cute. Her main complaint was that when you are one age group you can only complete two tasks and it levels up. She couldn’t complete the other activities so that bummed her out. Overall a fun toy that says your name and plays games just some tweaks would make it even better

So fun and engaging!

We were so excited to receive a Hatchimals Mystery for my honest review of the toy. My girls all absolutely love it! From helping and watching it hatch to loving and playing with it through its stages. They are still learning all the fun interactive things they can do with their Hatchimal. I wondered if it would be age appropriate for all of them but they all had just as much fun as the other and they're 8,7, and 3. The toy itself seems to be great quality and I think it will last for a long time. A great interactive and learning toy as they have to nurture and take care of their baby. I wish they were just a bit lower in price and I would get them each one as it would be a great Christmas gift! I would recommend it to others as a fun, interactive and learning toy that would make any kid happy to receive as a gift.

Love this Hatchimal Concept!

This Hatchimal is the neatest toy I believe I have ever seen. My grandchildren, son-in-law, and my husband all gathered around the table, and all took turns rubbing and tapping the Hatchimal! When it started to pick it's way out of it's shell, the magic in my grandchildrens eyes was priceless! This little fella will help them learn how to take care of a real pet someday! I absolutely love this little guy! We will be buying one for each of our other grandkids... So creative and fun!

So much fun!!!!

My daughters and I were absolutely beyond excited to try this product out for free!!! Hatchimal are so fun! My 3 year old adores it. My 15 year old even had fun trying it out! I would definetly buy this again. However I would be able to buy more if the price went down a little bit. It’s a great surprise waiting for the Hatchimal to open! I’d recommend to all of my friends! Fun for all ages!

What a happy child

I have never seen my son play with anything this much. He loves to make it move and talk. And he loves owls! Who knew that would be the one he got.
They are easy to remove the egg. The batteries are also included.
This is an amazing gift for children that love active toys. My son is autistic and ADHD. That makes it even better to see him so excited to get something.
He'd been wanting a Hatchimal for quite some time. We just never got one because we didn't know if it were something he'd continue to play with. Now, I'm so thrilled that he got this one!

Amazing Toy!

The Hatchimals Mystery toy is awesome. Not only do you hatch a surprise animal out of an egg, you get to raise and interact with the animal through 3 different stages: baby, toddler, and kid. When you first open the box, you take out an egg that needs to be hatched. My kids were so excited to play with the egg. You can interact with the egg by tapping it, rubbing it, and turning the egg upside down. The animal inside responds by pecking, making sounds, and changing the light color of its eyes which is clearly visible on the outside of the shell. It took about 15 minutes for the animal to completely hatch out the shell. My kids loved that part! They were so excited to see which mystery Hatchimal they were going to raise. Once the Hatchimal is out of the shell it starts out as a baby. My kids got a kick out of having the baby Hatchimal say their names. The Hatchimal uses the color of its eyes to communicate its needs, i.e. hungry, needs to burp, etc. Each stage from baby to kid has different ways to interact. This stage progression kept my kids interested and they really enjoyed raising the Hatchimal to the kid stage where the Hatchimal learns to fly. This toy is awesome, both my kids were super excited to play with this toy (ages 5 and 8). I recommend this toy, however, if you want more than one kid to play with this toy, I would buy one for each kid. It's very exciting to hatch and raise and both my kids wanted to hold the egg and Hatchimal at the same time. I received this toy for free.

Excellent toy

As per usual the hatchimals are super fun and engaging for the kids. Watching it hatch out of its shell makes everyone come to check it out and the kids won't even look away for the 20 or so minutes My daughter enjoy every single bit of it I will definitely buy one and I got this one for free

Fun to Watch

This is a great activity and learning tool for kids. It was fun watching my daughter get so excited about the hatching and having to tend to it. The design and quality to the Hatchimal is top notch.
