Don’t bother
Spray sunscreen seems like such a great idea, until you burn!
The idea of it is great, don’t get your hands messy, fast and easy. But in reality if you do not spread this product in with your hands and apply a lot it’s not doing anything for you. I have olive tone skin and tan very easily and don’t easily burn but on a recent vacation I applied some spray sunscreen and I burnt on day 1. Everywhere except for the strips I had from the exact places I sprayed. So perhaps if I sprayed much more it would have helped. But also any little breeze in the air is blowing the sunscreen away so it will take half a can to properly protect yourself.
On top of that the pressure from the airplane affected one of my bottles and it wouldn’t spray, which has happened in the past with hairspray, the pressure in the air is not great for aerosol cans. So unless your vacationing in Canada when the weather is less than 30 degrees I would skip this product and go for regular cream based sunscreen.
This is my favorite sunscreen to use. I love the ease and convenience of a spray on formula as well as the fact that it goes on sheer instead of having to rub in the white stuff. Plus you can apply to your own back and other hard to reach places with confidence. I love the smell - it's so beachy and beautiful. It's my favorite brand of sunscreen in general. I also like that it comes in 30 spf and higher - I have fair skin and a higher chance of getting skin cancer due to previous burns and the removal of multiple suspicious moles so I try to be very diligent in applying sunscreen and this formula makes it so easy. It's worth any extra money spent for me.
I used this sunscreen while on vacation and it definitely did the trick! I didn't burn with it and it provided enough protection to not burn me, but still give me a light tan. The best part about this sunscreen is that it is not sticky at all and it really sprays on very smoothly. Of course the coconut smell is great too.
