Head and Shoulders is recommended for anyone with a dandruff issue. It is very effective and its vast amounts of scents are amazing aswell
The smell is pleasent and not to overpowering .The texture of the conditioner is nice and creamy. It left my hair nice and soft afterwards.Great for dry hair.
I agree with the previous reviewers this product has a great smell! I usually only use it in the winter months when my scalp seems to flake a bit more! Even then I don't use it on a daily basis but rather at least twice a week! Worth the price but if you aren't willing to pay regular price you can keep an eye out for the sales which is common with this product!
If you are a hair snob like me, this is probably something you would never consider buying. The packaging and the brand have never appealed to me before, but I'm so glad I tried it because it is so much better than I thought it would be. It smells great and keeps my hair soft and smelling great for 2 days (I wash my hair every other day). Even my sister commented that my hair smelled nice when I saw her this weekend.
I received this from a P&G;event where they treated us to a session of 'scalp school' to educate about the causes of dandruff (bacteria poo) and what can be done to treat it rather than masking the symptoms.
Apparently the best way to treat it is to use a shampoo and conditioner that contain Pyrithione Zinc. This does not damage the hair and can be used on colour treated hair. It is meant to be used not just on the ends but all over the hair and the scalp and must be used in conjunction with the shampoo to get the best results. Both the conditioner and the shampoo contain Pyrithione Zinc and if you use a different conditioner or swap your shampoo, you will just wash this key ingredient away which is what treats the dandruff.
I have noticed less flaking and will continue to use this together with the shampoo since I'm happy with the results.
