Slightly Thicker Hair-Many More Breakouts

I have always dealt with fine hair. Not thin, I have a lot of it, but fine. And throughout the year, every few months or so I will go through a shedding phase, where I notice lot of hair in the tub or in my brush. For my age my skin isn't too bad, wrinkles wise. However I'd like to have more elasticity. I purchased this item after reading about the positive effects this supplement could have on my hair, nails and skin. It took quite a while to notice any results, you really have to be patient. I'd say it took about 3-4 months for me to notice anything at all.
Slowly I started noticing new baby hair growing near my hairline. It's not a major change in my hair, I think you'll only notice a subtle change unless you are really lacking in these nutrients. My hair is still fine and is about the same strength. It still goes through shedding phases, but it doesn't seem to last as long. My skin however keeps breaking out and I have read that this is a side effect of taking biotin. I have used 2 bottles which had 90 capsules per bottle and I still have one bottle to go. I will continue with the last bottle and if I do not see any changes in my skin and the breakouts continue I don't think I will keep on taking this product. The change in my hair isn't drastic enough for the sacrifice I am making with my skin. I have not noticed any real changes with my skin either, other than the acne. The BIGGEST change I noticed is how quickly my nails have grown. My nails have always been strong, but now they grow twice as fast. I have a chronic split in my nail due to an injury to the nailbed and I was hoping this would help with the problem and stop the nail from splitting, but it hasn't helped at all. I'm on the fence with this product. Not sure if I like it or not. I like the new hair around the hairline, but not much else. These capsules are filled with white powder and are about the average size you'd expect from a vitamin/capsule. This product has no fillers, are vegan and are non-gmo.
