Not against a little extra protection

This product has been send to me for free in exchange of my honest review. It's hard to say if it's effective because they say to take it every for 3 months. But a little extra protection could no harm! My kids didn't really like the taste, so I mixed it with some orange juice in the little cup included.

Helixia is all you need

Helixia is the best syrup that I have ever used for my kids. They work well and are naturally sourced. I would definitely recommend this for everyone with no hesitation.

Effective but doesn’t taste great

With my children in daycare, it’s important to keep their immune system strong and healthy to fight against the various germs and viruses they come in contact with. Helixia Kids Natural Defense is intended for kids aged 3-10 years old and is a proactive measure to protect against colds, sore throats and ear infections.

This daily supplement is naturally sourced and made from Pleuran, a biologically active polysaccharide consisting of naturally sourced beta-glucan. I’m also happy to see that this is dye-free, alcohol-free, gluten-free, with no artificial sweeteners.

Although the taste isn’t great, they don’t mind it when I mix it in with some juice and give to my children daily in the morning for about 3 months. Ideal results are achieved when it is taken during summer and fall, before the peak winter months where the cold and flu season hits.

Not the best tasting product

I wanted to love this product, as I have a kindergartener who is always bringing home sickness. Unfortunately the taste was horrendous to us, my daughter tried once and refused to again. I tried it next so I could at least review it, and it was disgusting. Maybe some like the medicinal flavouring , but not us. It has great ingredients but don’t help us out when no one can handle it.

Good Supplements

My kids have been taking this supplement since a month and their immune systems have definitely got better. They fall sick much less than before and are able to recover faster from common cold.

Unsure of effects

Unsure if this product works like it says but one good thing about this is that it doesn't taste like medicine. It has a very subtle taste so kids would not fight to take it

Really works

At the begining of the cold weather we are always having flu and congestion and this product arrive just in one of this times. Our kid was coughing a lot and we beginning to use helixia. After a few days our kid show an important relieve and everyday she was better. In this moment we can said that Helixia works perfectly and help out kids with the respiratory flu or infections. We are continue giving using this and for sure the next time we will be using it to prevent the common colds.

We were sent two bottles of Helixia Kids Natural Defense to test out for free with our children, aged 7 and 3. It’s always a bit tricky to review something that I can’t personally take, and since my kids aren’t yet expressive enough to share detailed feedback, I’ll share what I’ve observed so far.

Both kids have been taking it without any complaints, which is a win on its own! It’s hard to say definitively if it has had a major health impact yet, but I’m grateful that neither of them has had any serious cold or flu symptoms. Living in the prairies as November wraps up, this is no small blessing, and I thank God for keeping us healthy.

While I can’t measure the product's full effect yet, I appreciate the promise of added immune support as we navigate the cold season. If you’re looking for something to help bolster your child’s natural defenses, this might be worth a try – just remember, every child is different!
