I purchased Hellman's Carefully Crafted Dressing and Sandwich spread on a whim a few weeks ago - as the store was out o my regular mayonnaise product. I was very impressed. It's spiced very well, and I was able to use it in a few recipes that I normally grab another brand for! It is rich, creamy and versatile. I have used it on sandwiches, burgers, in potato and pasta salads, and even in a baked chicken recipe. my husband, who is extremely picky on brands even liked it!

I just recently tried this product. I don't really find much of a difference in taste between this and the regular Hellman's, however, it doesn't matter because the taste is great. It's rich and creamy, and works awesome in things like egg salad and as a spread.

Like the fact there are no articial flavours or colors in this product. Would probably buy again, but I do prefer the flavour of the olive oil Hellmans.

The quality is good, i like how easily it spreads and how thin/thick the layer you can make, but i still prefer the original mayo the best. It's just more flavorful than this spread, and tastes great on any sandwich. I might try it as a salad dressing or mixing it up in a dip.

I bought this kind of by accident at the grocery store. I didn't know if was egg free but when I tasted it I knew there was something different about it. I was surprised that it was egg free when I read the ingredients. Might not buy again because it is more expensive but a great alternatively for those who don't want eggs.

I always use Hellmann's mayo and I made the mistake of trying a different brand recently, and it was awful. Hellmann's really does have a completely unique taste compared to other brands, and has a subtle difference bewteen different flavours in it's own brand.

So I will say the Carefully Crafted is great... for people that cannot have eggs. It is a bit less creamy than the regular Hellmann's mayo and it has a lighter, less-full flavour. If you are allergic to eggs this is an AWESOME mayo to try, but it you aren't just stick with the regular mayo.

I found Hellman's carefully crafted dressing a little milder than the regular mayo I normally use and a lot less creamy. My husband liked it because it was egg free, which is great as a substitute for anyone with food restrictions. It tasted really good with my chicken recipe so I could see me using this for cooking. As far as sandwiches I still prefer regular mayonnaise .

It tastes ok, looks ok, but I prefer Hellmann's classic mayo. It's a really unique product and thats really important. I think it meets the quality standards I've come to expect from Hellmann's. Its just not the product for me.

when i saw Hellman's new mayo i wanted to try it. Well if my children cannot tell the difference, no one can. i have been using it for two weeks now, it tastes just like a regular mayo with eggs .

Anyone who wants eggless mayo should try Hellmann's Carefully Crafted, as it's probably the best vegan-friendly mayo I've tried. Sadly for everyone else I would say that Carefully Crafted is okay, but not as rich as traditional Hellmann's mayo. I wouldn't turn my nose up at this, but if given the choice and not worrying about any dietary restrictions, I'd still go with the classic mayo. Seeing as this product is made for those who want eggless mayo though, I think it's a good buy for that kind of customer.
