Pleasantly surprised

This was my first time trying anything from Hello.
The first thing I noticed about this deodorant was that the turning knob at the bottom used to push the deodorant up, was extremely stiff. I thought I was going to have to get my husband to try and do it. I ended up using a towel to cover my hand, and then I was able to unstick it. It rolls fine now, it was just that first time that was a little rough.
I'm really enjoying the fresh citrus scent, but I'm finding it is pretty weak.
Applying the deodorant the first time was a little uncomfortable because the stick was so firm. (This is normal with most natural deodorants, it just takes some getting used to.) Once the stick has been warmed by your skin, it glides on a lot easier.
I used this deodorant in the morning, and found it was very effective throughout the day. My arm pits stayed dry, and there was no odor. Overall I'm really enjoying using this brand, and I will most likely buy it again in the future.

Hello fresh citrus deodorant

I had the opportunity to try @helloproducts Hello fresh citrus deodorant with shea butter. It is great in that it is aluminum free. It also has no baking soda or parabens. It has a clean fresh scent which might be too strong for some. I love how the packaging is made from 100% recycled materials. With the shea butter it softens the skin. Thank you to @thisisbutterly for the opportunity to try this product. #gotitfree

Quite impressed

Happy with my introduction to hello naturally friendly deodorant. I have been trying the fresh citrus scent, which I quite enjoy and I like that it leaves a long-lasting, pleasant scent on my skin. I feel dry and protected all day.
I will continue to use this product, and would purchase again. However, I did not give a 5 star rating because the knob to lift the deodorant up and down has been difficult to use (hopefully the one I got is just a dud and this is not reflective of the packaging). Also I didn't find the deodorant to glide on so easily; it went on easier once I applied it and it warmed up a bit. It did leave a bit of chunks or product behind but not too much. Compared to another natural brand I have tried before, hello was much better in its effectiveness, fragrance and useability.

Really Good For A Clean Deodorant

I received this hello naturally friendly deodorant for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Hello and ChickAdvisor #gotitfree. The scent I got to try is fresh citrus and I really love the way it smells. Fresh really is the perfect word to describe it; it's fresh and clean without being overwhelming. I have 4 things I look for when buying a deodorant: it has to have no aluminum, it has to be vegan, it has to have clean/natural ingredients, and most of all it has to work! I'm happy to say that this product checks off everything on my list. I prefer this hello naturally friendly deodorant over green beaver deodorant (which I tried in the past). The texture of the hello one is firmer and goes on easier. It's less messy to apply than the green beaver one. I find the green beaver one can be oily and a little sticky but I don't have that problem with Hello. I love that this Hello fresh citrus deodorant has moisturizing ingredients. I find that the shea butter, coconut oil and cocoa butter help my dry skin, especially in the winter. Even with the moisturizing ingredients this deodorant dries completely and is not greasy. Another thing that makes this product really awesome is the fact that there is no baking soda or no parabens in it. It's not tested on animals and the container is made from recycled materials.

The scent is nice of lemon freshness, it also contains shea butter. In terms of long lasting wear there were days I had to reapply. There is a bit of transfer to clothes. No irritation was noted after application.

Great Natural Deodorant

I received this from Butterly in return for my honest review. I received the fresh citrus scent, which is a very pleasant, refreshing smell (not overpowering or sickly sweet). It takes a few swipes to get it going on smoothly, but then it goes on very well. I found I needed to apply more than I would with my normal antiperspirant, but that may have to do with me switching over to a different type of product. I don't feel that it lasted 24 hrs but once I realized I needed to apply more at the start, it did last for a good part of the day. I've always wanted to try a more natural, aluminum-free deodorant, and this one performed way better than I expected.

Great for a non-aluminium deodorant

I definitively liked it. The scent is lovely and I like the fact there is no aluminium and no paraben. It does its job but doesn't last as long as other deodorants but the product less toxic I guess which is cool for me. I also don't have any irritation with the skin. However they do use quite a lot of plastic for the packaging.

Works pretty well

I like the scent I received, it is the fresh Citrus scent. It's very light and not overpowering. It Glides on pretty well like a sunscreen stick. It goes on a little waxy but after a few seconds it dries and you barely notice you actually put anything on. However I don't think it lasted 24 hours but it did last for a good part of the day. I did read however when switching to an aluminum free deodorant that sometimes it needs a detox period which makes you smell more than normal. So that might be what is happening instead of the 24-hour order protection. overall , I don't have any problems with this deodorant and I want to thank you butterly for giving me this opportunity to try it out. The price point is a little harder than normal when I did some research, I wouldn't mind trying this brand again if I find it on sale. As a bonus, I do like how clear it went on- so it doesn't leave white marks on my black clothes. And it doesn't have like clumpy bits left over because it dries on invisible.
