Smells awesome but I smelled horrible after a few

I love using natural deodorants and was super excited to receive this one free in exchange for a review. Unfortunately I found this deodorant didn't last long at all. After 4 hours I could smell BO and I almost never smell like BO. I had high hopes for this because the smell is so refreshing. Unfortunately I gave it many tries and wearing no deodorant was actually better than this for me.

Smells nice but needs to be reapplied often

I received the Hello fresh citrus with Shea butter deodorant to try. I liked the scent and it was easy to apply. However it didn’t really work very well against odor. You need to keep reapplying throughout the day. I think it’s best to try it yourself however because we all have different skin & ph levels and our bodies react differently to products. So what doesn’t work for me will work for someone else. I do like the natural ingredients and that it is not tested on animals. It also doesn’t have any aluminum

Not bad!

I like that it's creamy and goes on super smoothly, and feels very moisturizing. The scent reminds me a lot of a lemon bar or lemon candy, yum! However, it does leave some (faint) marks on dark clothes and is not the most effective when it comes to controlling perspiration. It's not a bad natural product to have in your arsenal for winter, but the warmer months will require something stronger.

Wonderful scent

I'm divided on this deodorant. The scent is fantastic, fresh and moderately strong. For some reason it's not always easy to find fresh citrus deodorants, and in my opinion those work the best to mask odour. This one is perfectly scented. That being said, it's comparable to other deodorants. It can only go on clean skin and I have to reapply once every day. It works for a regular day, but if I'm running around or working out it doesn't cut it and I start getting stinky. So I will just use it on low impact days, since I love the scent so much. It doesn't contain baking soda, so it doesn't irritate sensitive skin, and I had no irritation from using it. It glides moderately well, and I didn't notice any white residue on my armpits, which is a big plus. It's also worth noting that the packaging is plastic, but made from 100% recycled materials, which is a great thing.

All Natural Deodorant for All!

I got this Hello fresh citrus scent deodorant for free to try! I was excited to try something all natural and friendly for the environment for myself and my preteen daughter who uses deodorants daily. This scent was mild and pleasant. It was effective for me and my daughter for daily use. I also loved the opportunity to teach my daughter about taking care of and protecting her body with all natural products but for the environment as well. I would consider buying this and trying other scents if the availability and price point were right for us. The only issue I had was initially it was really hard to get the cap and Deodorant up out of the packaging. I struggled quite a bit and had to put muscle into it, kind of hurting my fingers in the process trying to twist it up higher for use. It wasn't as smooth twisting up and down.

Natural Deodorant Not My Thing

I had the opportunity to try this natural deodorant from hello.

I have tried natural deodorants in the past and although they may seem to work in the beginning, throughout the day they definitely wear off for me.

My experience with this deodorant included; difficult to open, now this may have been a one off with the packaging but it was really hard to twist the bottom to get the stick started. Once I got some out, I applied and it was very hard to apply. It feels like a thick lotion if I had to describe it, maybe from the shea butter in the product?

After leaving it on for a day it got crumbly in a way I’ve never experienced deodorant before. As somebody who was diagnosed with hyper-hidrosis in the past I don’t think this product is meant for me.

I did really like the packaging, it is very nice and stands out. I also did like the scent of it. This product may be for some people but not for me.

Non toxic

I got this product as a sample in return of my honest review. I liked the product due to the fact that its aluminum free and non toxic as I am always looking for products that are natural and and free of chemicals and harmful elements. Its fragrant free and I am fine with that as long as it keep me stink free when I sweat. The only problem I had with this product is the knob at the bottom which is quite stiff and doesn't rotate smoothly that's my only concern otherwise I recommend the product to anyone looking for aluminum free deodorants. h #hellonaturallyfriendlydeodorant #thisisbutterly #chickadvisor

Nice natural deodorant

Thank you @thisisbuttely @chickadvisor @helloproducts_ca for allowing me to try the Hello fresh citrus deodorant with shea butter.

At first glance the packaging looked appealing and the name of the product clearly stood out. It was a bonus that it came in my favourite colour. The product was the right size and comfortable to hold. The smell was pleasant, fresh and invigorating first thing in the morning. I had some trouble using the rotating mechanism at the bottom, which appeared jammed but I finally got it to move with repeated attempts. I used it immediately after my shower. The glide could have been better but I was pleased with the smell and it was reassuring that I was using a product that was natural, vegan , not animal tested and 100% recycled all of which was clearly stated on the packaging too. While it does offer 24 odor protection it would have been nice if the deodorant smell lasted for longer than half a day. Overall this is a good product as the packaging and smell of the product are brilliant.
