I bought these because I had a huge Herbal Essence phase a few years back and loved the brand! The scents were heavenly! This old-school version really had my hopes up, but it wasn't anything super-special. The shampoo and conditioner do get the job done, but I didn't notice much smoothing, even after a month of use. However it is a "better" shampoo, that did bring out my natural highlights a bit, so that's a plus. But the rose scent is just terrible! I'm not sure why but it seems so fake, and it simply reeks! It lingers on my hair and just drives me nuts! The bottle seems like it goes on forever, and I have to alternate shampoos to tolerate the built up scent. Sure, it's decent, but the smell ruins it. Buy it if you want, but smell it in-store.
