The only thing this really has going for it is the price
Herbal Essences is pretty affordable, which is nice, but that is really the only nice thing about the product. I did not like the smell, unfortunately, and I didn't notice any nourishing or positive benefits for my hair. I wasn't a fan.
Not for me
Eh. I wasn’t too impressed really, especially with the “fun factor”: as it is “blue ginger”, I expected the shampoo to be like a blue gel, but it was just clear and boring lol. It does have a nice scent though, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. My hair was left ok, no special shine or any other remarkable things I can say about it. No better than a salon graded shampoo for sure...
.
Love this shampoo! The scent is very light and nice. The consistency of the shampoo is also very good and lathers very well, so a little goes along way. My hair type is very fine and my scalp is dry and I felt this shampoo cleaned my scalp very well without leaving it dry. It left my hair soft and silky without weighing it down and my scalp felt very clean after. Over all I really enjoyed this shampoo a lot compared to other herbal essence shampoos I’ve tried and will definitely recommend it .
The absolute worst
This product left both mine and my daughters hair almost matted. We used an excessive amount of conditioner to try and make it more soft. It’s expensive for herbal essence and terrible
Love it
I wasn't expecting to like the smell if this but I did and it works awesome and is color safe. Makes my hair feel so smooth and fresh I really liked this shampoo and conditioner!!!
made from 90% natural ingredients
The conditioner left my hair feeling smooth and hydrated desite the cold dry weather here. I feel this particular conditioner wasn't quite as hydrating and moisturizing as my regular conditioner. However, a big pro to this conditioner is that it is 90% derived from natural ingredients like seal kelp and aloe. As well, is gluten free, paraben free and silicone free.. however, I feel like products being paraben is becoming more standard these days.
