It works better than any other detangler I've ever tried. It doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy, even when used two days in a row. It also has a nice smell

My daughter has curly hair. A lot of products tend to weigh down her hair. This is light and definitely silky. Leaves such a nice shine too.

I received the Herbal Essences Curl Silkening Detangler from ChickAdvisor after winning one of their contests. I don't have curly hair but I've been wanting to try a detangler since I air dry my hair for the most part, therefore I gave it a shot. The first thing I noticed is that the product didn't spray out of the nozzle in a steady manner. It kept getting stuck so I really had to press hard to get the product to spray out. When it did, I noticed it had a beautiful scent, which is a feature Herbal Essences is known for. The product did not feel sticky on my hair and after leaving it on my damp hair to dry naturally, I didn't see any residue either. The end result was that I was able to brush through my hair easily, so I'm assuming this will prevent or decrease breakage in the future. It did make my hair feel softer as well. Pretty good product, which I can imagine working well for curls. However, they need to fix the issue with the nozzle.
