Herbal Essences Hydralicious Shampoo & Conditioner Reviews
#117 in Shampoo

Description

Each Hydralicious hair collection is made up of custom-swirled shampoos and conditioners with moisture-rich formulas, but one type of hydration doesn’t fit all, so that’s why there are three different formulas. So go ahead, give it a swirl and find the one that’s right for you. With three ways to hydrate, there’ll be plenty of moisture to go around.

It smells so good and when you washed your hair they are so clean and soft . The sweet scent lasts for the whole day. It gives your hair some body/bounce also. When you use the Hydralicious conditioner after this shampoo your hair will be conditioned, soft & silky for the whole day. There will be no more tangles after drying your hair. In my opinion it is the best shampoo for my hair type which is normal to dry.

The consistency of this shampoo is like glue. It's so thick and gooey. I tried it for about a week. My hair did feel softer, but my scalp started freaking out. The shampoo made my scalp break out! I think it was just way way too oily. I switched to a different shampoo, and my scalp had calmed down by the next day. I would only use this if you have SUPER dry scalp AND hair.

I sometimes buy the herbal essence hydralicious shampoo and conditioner. I'm not jumping up and down with these 2 products but they still are ok for me. I mostly buy them because they do the job and the prices are usually reasonnable.

Good points: smells nice- affordable- also as a nice range of different scents and for different hairs- lathers well and no my scalp isnt hitchy.

    ok products.

I have been using their Hydralicious Featherweight Shampoo (the yellow one) for about 5 months and love it! After using this with the conditioner in the same line my hair is left soft, shiny and full of body. It also has an amazing smell that I can't get enough of. For $3 it is definitely worth the purchase!

Oh the only con is that if you spill some on your counter it can stain it yellow! So just be aware of that! :)

If you're looking for a cheap, great shampoo this would be the one to get. I normally hated the Herbal Essences line and wouldn't use it at all, that is until Hydralicious came along. I love it. It really does hydrate your hair. I also love the smell (purple bottle).

This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner among in the Herbal Essences Hydralicious line. It is a lavishing shampoo and conditioner with shea. I love the distinctive, calming, flora scent. If you're not sure which shampoo and conditioner to use in this line, I would recommend the reconditioning concoction, since it is for designed specifically for damaged hair. I believe all hair is damaged one way or another, because with the styling products we use, the massive amount of heat we apply with our hair dryer/curler/straightening iron, and environmental elements our hair endure. I only con I found with this product, is that it does not give me enough volume. However, the reconditioning brew gives me more volume than the featherweight shampoo and conditioner. Other than that, this product is hydrating, gives my hair a healthy shine, makes it soft and manageable.

Is it just me or is Herbal Essences getting more and more disappointing as time goes by? This is at least my 3rd bad review of one of their products.
I bought the hydralicious shampoo in hopes that it would help with my dry hair. Well, I'm pretty angry I wasted any time or money on it because it didn't work AT ALL.
The shampoo was thick coming out of the bottle and didn't lather well to begin with. I didn't dare use the matching conditioner because it was so thick.
When I got out of the shower, even before I dried my hair it felt as if there was a slimy coating on my hair. It was disgusting!
Once my hair was dry, it was completely flat and felt greasy even though I had just washed it. I felt as though I had to jump back in the shower to wash it again!
I would never recommend this product to anyone and I probably won't ever waste my money on any Herbal Essences product again. No wonder they are so cheap, they are very low quality and you get what you pay for in this instance.

For the price it's a great shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling very clean, and soft, plus the smell is yummy! Plus there are cute little facts on the back on the bottles.:)

I love Herbal Essence products, although i find that they are no worse or no better than alot of other products. hydralicious is great though. it made my hair feel light and soft, without buildup. I totally reccomend this product.

    Short and sweet once again.

I have tried EVERY single herbal shampoo regardless of what it's for [I find they are all the same jsut different smells]. And I'm disappointed every single time.

I let my hair "air" dry after washing it to avoid the "greasy" root issue that happens with my thick hair. Regardless everytime I use the herbal brand it leave my hair feeling greasy [like I hadnt washed in weeks] and look limp and lifeless and moves in gross wades and I shake my head. It's so GROSS! not to mention upsetting.

Thankfully I finally found a brand that works.. it only took 2 years! Garnier frutise clean shampoo.

Herbal is only good for the initional smell but that's it.
