My sister owns this shampoo and conditioner combo, and boy do they smell bad!
If she was to use it right before I have a shower or go into the bathroom, the smell makes me so nauseated it is that bad.
Because of this I wouldn't be able to use it, so I wouldn't know if the product works well with long hair

I love this shampoo. I use it in combination with the conditioner and it works great. My hair feels silky and smooth and it's extremely shiny. It smells really good and I find that its scent is slightly more subtle than the other Herbal Essences shampoos. This shampoo makes my hair look and feel healthy and I have had no problems with split ends. It's also pretty affordable and it seems to last for a very long time. I like that it's a quality shampoo that leaves my long hair feeling soft for a reasonably good price compared to other shampoos.

Great smell and works very well for dry hair. Leaves your hair feeling very clean.

I love this shampoo. It makes my hair feel extremely clean and healthy, and keeps my ends from drying out. It also has a nice scent which I like.

I went back to using this shampoo after trying other brands. However, this time it seemed to make my hair greasy like it left some buildup after washing my hair. I also find the scent a bit overpowering. I will use as a back up but will not repurchase.

Like all Herbal Essences products it has a stronger scent.

I have very long hair (to the narrow of my waist), but I don't find these varieties all that different (except for dandruff formulas or clarifying formulas). I didn't find the shampoo or conditioner anymore moisturizing or strengthing then the Hydrating version or the Volumizing version.

Therefore my review is similar to my Hydration review, the shampoo cleans decently and the conditioner is nice and creamy, Overall a decent combination when on sale.

If you like the smell then get it even if you don't have terribly long hair!

This shampoo in partner with the conditioner smells so wonderful you'll melt and leaves your hair nice and soft. I have frizzy hair and even I love what it does to my hair.
