Worked well for me

I used this when I was pregnant, as I wanted to avoid the usual chemical nasties found in my tried and tested brand. I wasn't expecting it to be too great, and the price seemed a bit steep, but I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised by the results. It went on well and was a nice, natural-looking black, much like my usual brand (Nice and Easy). The most impressive thing for me was how well it lasted on my hair. It didn't wash out or fade at all really, so it was just when my roots grew back a bit that it needed doing again, just as with my usual brand.

You may pay a little more for this product but you will not be disappointed! I loved the results I got, my hair was silky soft, it covered my greys for weeks where other home dyes have let me down plus it wasn’t messy at all. The fact that it’s a natural product only makes it that much better!

HERBATINT PERMANENT HAIRCOLOUR GEL

I tried this product and was overall very impressed. Virtually unscented and way less chemicals. It worked well however it is a tad darker than it should be but looks great and will probably fade into the perfect shade of blonde. If not next time I will go one shade lighter. I used dark golden blonde. The product seemed runny but it got thicker after mixing it for a few minutes. I highly recommend this product and will be using it again in the future

Absolutely in love with this product

My sister owned an all natural store and reccomended herbatint as I needed something scent free and eco friendly. It is by far the best hair dye I have ever used. Lasts way longer then others. It is reasonable in cost as well. I love the color choices and that I can purchase it at the local grocery store. Highly recommend

I was reluctant to start coloring my hair due to the chemical exposure. I found this product at my local health store and loved it. The color match was perfect. It is easy to use and stays in my hair without dripping allowing my to multi-task. I have short hair and like that I can use a little bit at a time and save the rest for future use. The cost could be better but I am totally willing to spend a bit more to not have to deal with the ammonia and other chemicals.

After paying a fortune for years to have my hair professionally coloured at a salon and suffer with an irritated scalp I am relieved to be able to colour my hair at home with this natural product. It is made in Italy and the kit contains enough product to colour my long hair. The kit also includes a luxurious conditioner. I love the results from using this product.

Herbatint is a gentle, odourless, no ammonia hair colour. A friend suggested I try this and I am so glad I did! Despite colouring my own hair for years, I can no longer tolerate ammonia and heavy scents.I was afraid that I would have to give up colouring altogether. There are many mixed reviews online but I find it works as well as any other colour I have used in the past. The key is to follow the directions and leave it on for the entire suggested time of 40 minutes. Other than the normal root growth, the colour lasted about 6 weeks without fading. Because it's a natural product, they recommend going up one or two shades from your desired result. I typically would use a medium brown in other brands, and with this, the Light Chestnut gives me a medium to dark brown that I want. If you have fine or short hair, you should be able to get two applications from one kit. The bottles can be resealed and used for the next time (it's also convenient for a root touch up). The only downside, I would say,is that it does not come with an applicator bottle. They suggest mixing it up in a bowl and applying it with a brush. I found it just as effective to use an old applicator bottle. It has a gel-like texture once you mix it up and applies equally well either way. The only other thing I would add is that if you have very thick or long hair, you will likely need two boxes. These negatives about the product are not enough to hinder me from using it. It's an overall great product!
