A revolution for pimples

With the holiday season coming, its the perfect timing to try this patches! With everything going in life, it can lead to stress and can lead to pimples (which you don’t want at this time of the year😅). Thanks to @herocosmetics_ca for this patches!

Its perfect to wear at night, since you have to let them on your skin for 6-8 hours. The patches are perfect to stop trying to touch to the pimple. Its a clear patch, so It doesn’t really appear, you can wear it during the day if you don’t mind the patches (like me). Its nice that you can see when the blemish appear! Its a really cool product. It works really well to absorbs the pimple. It also help to heal the pimple, keep it clean and reduce the redness/swelling. Its gonna be my go to now! 🤭

Hero Cosmetics saved my day with the MIGHTY PATCH

I received these from Butterly and Hero Cosmetcs for free at the perfect time, just as I felt an under the skin pimple emerging to the surface. Before applying the patch I cleansed my skin and ensured the area was completely dry. I applied the patch and the rest of my skincare. After about 5 hours I could already see the patch working it’s magic! I kept the patch on for about another 6 hours and removed it before going to bed. After just one application my pimple was already less inflamed and aggravated. It was also a lot smaller in size and less painful. The patch itself was comfortable, lessened the appearance of my pimple, and stayed on very well. These MIGHTY PATCHES are your saviour when you need a pimple gone FAST. I would recommend these to anyone and will definitely be stocking up on these for the winter season!

Underwhelmed

While I was personally underwhelmed by this product, there are still some good characteristics. First, they come with 36, so you don’t have to worry about running out quickly. They aren’t too big, and are pretty clear when starting so they aren’t overly noticeable and they do stay on well. If you can keep it on and not touch it, then this product will be helpful in that way. Not touching it will allow the pimple to be able to start healing as you’re not introducing any extra bacteria by touching it or trying to pop it. So, in that way, it does work. My own biggest con— it didn’t do anything else. I used them at night and when I would get up to take it off, there was no difference to the size or redness of my blemish. I followed the instructions, I used them correctly, I had my partner try them as well, but for both of us, they did not have any effect, other than not bothering it, which for myself, I can do that without a patch. So, while there are some positives, this is not a product I would be buying again, unfortunately.

Great intro to the brand!

I’ve seen Hero Cosmetics on my social media for a while now and I’ve been itching to give them a try, so a hydrocolloid patch was a great introduction. I get the occasional breakout, sometimes with a white head and other times, they’re hormonal and pimple patches aren’t super effective but it was worth giving it a shot on my newest annoying pimple.

I use patches like these often and usually have the same prep – wash the area, apply a blemish serum, let it dry down and apply the patch. The Mighty Patch stuck on really well and I ended up using 2 for 2 blemishes to protect them before going to bed. I do wish there were different sizes in the box as the patch was a bit too big for one of the spots, which lead to creasing in the patch because of the location.

When I woke up and removed them, I noticed that both blemishes were reduced substantially in size, which was amazing! Unfortunately, I seemed to get a reaction on one of the areas and had a red, raised welt in the shape of the hydrocolloid patch for about 30 minutes after taking them off. This only happened in one location so it may just be a fluke and I’ll still use it in the near future before deciding if this is a deal breaker for me.

Overall, a decent pimple patch and a great introduction to the brand. I’m eager to try more from the brand, including their Micropoint patches and Lightning Wand!

Miracle worker

This is amazing. I love it. Best of all. I am able to blend my makeup over it. So it doesn’t show a lot. I would definitely by keeping a stack of these at home for those days when needed. And the size is cute.

Life saver!

These patches are great early fixes when a blemish appears! I can wear it all day and it’s barely noticeable 1 making it a great solution for camouflaging pimples AND healing them so they disappear faster!

Super easy to use and effective

I found this product easy to use, with clear instructions. In the evening, I cleansed and dried my skin. I then applied a Mighty Patch to a pimple that was developing and by morning, I noticed that the patch had absorbed pimple's gunk. i.e. Super easy to use and effective.

I've tried a few brands of hydrocolloid patches. I liked that these patches stayed on all night and didn't irritate my skin.

Not all heros wear capes!

This “super” hero is nearly invisible and small but definitely powerful. The patches were easy to apply, comfortable, and easy to remove after 8 plus hours. Although they work best on treating whiteheads - I found they were also beneficial in creating a barrier that prevents accidental scratching or picking at night. I also used these patches as soon as a pimple started to appear and I found the pimples look less red and decreased in size in the morning. The patch size is also perfect for both big and small blemishes.

Impressive

Pimple patches are one of those products that are worth paying more for better quality. I tried a few other brands, and this one feels more effective. The way you can remove them from the paper takes away the need to put your fingers on the sticky part, which makes a more hygienic application. The thickness of the patches doesn’t make them completely invisible, but I only wear them at night anyway. They absorb moisture from the whiteheads or pimples and leave the area looking less irritated and inflamed in the morning. It also prevents me from picking at my skin. The only thing that could be better would be having different sizes of patches for different areas.
