OMG what a cookie!

The Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch Caramel is my new favorite cookie. They actually taste like a decadent chocolate bar with caramel and crunchy pieces wrapped in Hershey's famous chocolate. The best thing is that they come individually wrapped so you can enjoy them anywhere. Don't wait...go buy these now...you won't regret it!

A nice blend

The first thing I noticed was how thick these chocolate bars are. They're about a full centimeter tall. Next I noticed the classic Hershey's milk chocolate flavor, mixed with a light caramel filling that isn't too sweet.
Finally I got the crunch of the shortbread cookies. I found the cookie pieces to be fairly substantial and they definitely hold their own
without getting lost in the chocolate flavor too much.

I would say the ratio is about 60% chocolate, 10% caramel and 30% cookie pieces. No one flavour is too overwhelming and they all seem to blend together nicely.

It is a fairly filling chocolate bar, and while I only got a sample size (about 3 "squares" or the size of a "fun size" bar) I was satisfied.
If I bought the full size I would end up cutting it into pieces and eating them over the course of several days, which I plan to do because I really enjoyed this chocolate bar!

I found this treat to be too sweet. There were a few too many flavours going on for me. The chocolate was good, but I'd prefer a caramel bar or Twix bar any day.

I received a sample of this in the mail and boy, am I glad I did. I absolutely love the sweet and salty combination! I would say for milk chocolate, its more on the dark side and this is likely because of the shortbread and salty/sweet flavor. Personally, I am a big fan, but if you are expecting a regular milk chocolate Hersey this may be a bit more on the truffle side than you'd expect.

Overall, this could very well be my favorite new chocolate bar! It really does taste like a caramel shortbread cookie wrapped in a Hersey's chocolate bar!

I was so excited to try this. What a combo! It wasn't as great as I hoped. The chocolate was not as creamy as I expected. It wasn't a nice "melt in your mouth" chocolate. With the shortbread, it was kind of dry. I love the idea of these 3 things but it wasn't to be....

This chocolate bar was amazing! I loved the creamy soft caramel and that when you took a bite you could actually see the mini shortbread cookies instead. The cookies added a really nice crunch to the chocolate.
