Hershey’s S’mores Perfectly Toasted (game)
Game is interesting, my little siblings loved it. Not so much for older kids or grown ups. Game pieces eventually got lost as a lot of them are very small and hard to keep track of. Would recommend as it keeps the kids occupied just watch out for small game pieces.
Super fun Game!
I would recommend this game! It’s very fun and interactive! The only downside is the flimsy sticks with a 7 year old are going to be in rough shape quick! Would have been better plastic or something stronger but otherwise this is an awesome game!!
Fun for kids
Gideon our 9yo loves his games, and we were lucky enough to be chosen to try the new HERSHEY’S! The S’mores Perfectly Toasted Game by Spin Master Games. It did not take long at all to setup and read through the rules. We only had two players the first time, so it's definitely more fun with 3 or more! It kept us busy long enough but not to where it felt dragged on.
Gist of the game is to collect ingredients and steal from other players to get more ingredients. The first player to make 3 s’mores wins! The campfire glows and toasts your marshmallows like you are outside camping at a real bonfire. What a fun way to spend family time! It does require 3 AAA batteries, it would have been nice if they came with them. I also wish it was real chocolate and s'mores, but we can't go eating the board game I suppose.
Cute game
This is a really fun family game. The kids love the pieces to make smores. It's harder to win than I thought! It requires some strategy to win. Great for kids and adults. This will make a great gift too.
Cute game.
We were excited to receive HERSHEY’S S’mores Perfectly Toasted Game to try and review. The box is appealing with lots of pictures. Most pieces of the game (marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers) are nice quality and very durable, but we were disappointed that the sticks are thinner paper and a bit too flexible - the kids bent them easily causing some damage to the piece. (That however, is not how the game intends to use the roasting stick, but of course kids play with pieces in different ways).
The instructions are attractive with lots of pictures. We did find the instructions to be a tad confusing on the first read, maybe due to all the information provided. After a couple read-throughs, the game is fairly simple.
This game is fun. I like the campfire in the centre and that it makes part of the game (moving the marshmallow pieces) more random. The game would move quicker with more players. With the minimal players (3), it can take longer to move marshmallow because of the campfire.
My 6-year old daughter enjoyed playing the game, especially making the S'Mores and pretending to eat them. This is a game we will play again.
S’mores game fun for 5 and up!
Fun and unique game for kids. First person to make 3 full s’mores wins. You get cards to obtain ingredients and can even steal from other players. My daughter is 5 could understand how to play and loved it!
So much fun
I received this Hershey s’mores game for free for my honest review. I played it with my nephews and we had a blast. It was so much fun watching the boys try to strategize to build their s’mores. Definitely a game that takes skill and strategy. Playing this game brought me back to summertime and roasting marshmallows for s’mores at the cottage. I can’t wait to play it again, it will definitely be added to our collection of games at the cottage.
Toasty fun!
We received Spin Master's Hershey's S'mores game to try, and it was a winner. The kids were super excited to try because it said s'mores on the box, but despite finding no 'real' marshmallows in the game, they enjoyed playing it. You can play with 3-6 people with the winner making 3 perfectly toasted s'mores. Design-wise the game looks nice, the board is round and looks like a campfire and there is a very small, battery-operated, light-up campfire that lets people know when they get to shift their marshmallows closer to the campfire 'embers'. The game is fun, once you figure out the rules. There are parts of the rules that are not really well explained, but you can figure out once you start playing. You really do need the light-up campfire to play the game, so make sure you have 3, triple-A batteries handy before you begin playing. This is a great game for young children (eg. 6-8 years) and would be a great lead-in before a family were to go camping for the first time. The pieces are made of heavy cardboard, plastic foam or hard plastic, so it will last. #FamilyRatedClub #thisisButterly
