Horrible customer service & completely inaccurate sizing

Just to preface I spent a good two weeks comparing myself to the models on the instagram and what sizes they were wearing ALONG with measuring myself and comparing it to the size chart before purchasing. I ordered two swimsuits, and when they arrived, I couldn’t get them past my knees, hence i’m 110 pounds & 5’2. I ordered an extra small which, according to their size chart should’ve ran slightly big if not fit me perfectly. I emailed them about a return since I could not even get the bikinis on and they were so rude and passive aggressive about answering simple shipping questions. Shipping the bikinis back cost me just about as much as I paid for them, but I had to decide if I was going to keep them and not even be able to get them on or make back about $40 of the $200 I had spent. To top it all off they will deduct the shipping that you already paid for from your refund. Just save your money & yourself from the whole experience like I wish i did.

Bad quality and completely not worth the money

I ordered Hoaka based on the good reviews and was completely disspointed. The swimsuit came in dirty (covered in some chalk) and the quality is awful. Completely not worth the money, so dissapppointed

Great for pictures. Not great for pretty much anything else

All their photos all look great on IG, but check that none of the girls are actually doing anything other than posing for a photo. This is because if you actually try to do anything like swimming in your swimsuit, your boob will pop out, or the fabric will crease in a weird way, or rub you raw in your pits, which is obviously super uncomfortable. I surf, and I don’t have confidence surfing in this bikini because my boob would pop out. Maybe this works for smaller chested girls, but as someone with a full bust (who ordered M++, apparently the version for busty girls) I am dissatisfied with coverage and fit.

Also, the quality isn’t great. The color faded really quick, and there was some delaminating after only a few uses causing weird bubbles in the fabric. I used the top more than the bottom and you can see from the photo the difference in color after one season of wear.

I gave this brand another chance and then on my next swimsuit, a purple pastel one, the black dye from the underside of the suit discolored the pastel purple, causing it to look permanently dirty.

I don’t understand why some girls are raving that these are “high quality.” I’m convinced those who say so are those who don’t actually go in the water that much. Even if you somehow manage to get the fit right (which is incredibly hard) there’s still this problem of discoloration. Good quality swimsuits don’t discolor.

You can get beautiful photos with this bikini and I’m happy this brand makes girls feel confident and sexy. But I just don’t think these bikinis are for people who actually do things in the water.

Average quality, terrible sizing, bad customer service

I am slim but not as skinny as 90% of the models promoting this product so I ordered an underwear set in size M. The triangle bustier is alright, but considering that I wear S in most other bras, this sizing is really disappointing. The Brazilian slip is the most horrific piece of underwear I have ever come across. No wonder there are no pictures of the front of it on their website. It makes me look 10kg heavier than I am, the upper stretchy part cuts into your hips and then everything underneath just bulges out, it's truly terrible.
Can't even return this stuff because they deduct the shipping you paid from your refund AND make you pay the return shipping. You end up paying as much for the return as you paid for the slip in the first place. Terrible brand, don't buy!!

Disappointed

Not the best. They advertise their brand as body positive so you would think their swim suits are good for even medium sized people (I am a size 8-11 for reference) but unless your the stereotypical “skinny” I would not recommend. The neoprene isn’t stretchy at all and if it’s too big you get these weird creases in the swim suit. If it’s too small any fat you have is squished out of the bathing suit. Also their size guide is bullshit it’s not accurate at all. I followed it and measured myself and it’s still too small. it’s just not meant for girls body’s that are bigger than a size 5. I’m sad to write this review because I love Elizabeth and have been wanting to try their swims for so long but overall it’s disappointing and I would say save your money for a different, cheaper bathing suit. Some of my target bathing suits are better than this.

not happy with this brand

customer service, they respond late, waited 3 weeks for shipping, product arrive and fits very weird, like a neoprene wetsuit that does not flatter the body at all, but can't return because is final sale so it goes to trash and won't buy from them again,

SIZING IS AWFUL

The top I got was a Medium++. I understand I am a larger bust, but this is a joke to consider this a D cup swimsuit. These bathing suits are not big boob friendly, save your money! Just go to La Vie En Rose :)

Poor quality and unhelpful customer service

I bought some of their new Ecohoaka’s since they looked so good on Instagram

The quality of the halter top was pretty poor with extra thread sticking out on the front and I believe there was a manufacturing issue since it’s a double layered top and when I put it on, the outside layer seems to have more fabric causing it to bunch on the top making the nipple area stick out and sag weirdly.
I’ve had no issues with the other top and the bottoms and they look great

However, once I contacted their customer service team they were super unhelpful and told me to fix thread issues myself (which of course I can try but I don’t want to damage my bikini or they probably will not help me to fix it) and that they believe that there isn’t an issue with the bikini - which I don’t really understand if they are basing this knowledge on other bikini that they have in stock or something but it seems weird since I sent photo of the issue that seemed pretty obvious
They also blamed me for having a size that’s too big despite me having an XS when the sizing guide recommends a S

It’s not worth me sending back since the return shipping is so expensive and I’m worried I might get another crap product

I’m not sure I would recommend purchasing from them since the quality seems a bit inconsistent and customer service was very unhelpful and it didn’t seem like she really care about trying to help me at all

Disappointing

I was so looking forward to receving my swimsuit from Hoaka based on the reviews and the countless pics i've seen on Instagram of the models wearing them. However, when i received it, i was super disappointed. It does NOT stretch at all and the quality is not what i expected. For the price, it's totally not worth it. There are a bunch of other swim companies that offer better-looking swimsuits for a better price!
