Fun word guessing game for the whole family!

Hot Words is such a fun party game to play with others! It is a competitive word guessing game in which players team up in two teams and race against time to guess words described to them by their team members. Simply pick a card, select a word to describe to your team members and make sure you do not say that actual word. This game is sure to bring lots of laughter to the table and it's entertaining and fun for parents to play with their children, too. It is recommended for ages 12 and older, but I found my younger children were able to join in on the fun as well. I highly recommend this Hot Words word guessing game! It would definitely make a great gift for anyone as well!

Tons of fun!!!

This is one of the most fun and interesting games we have played ever! Instructions and rules are very easy to understand and each piece, including the board, are very well made. It has become our first option to play on our family game nights: all of us enjoy it and I love the laughter and fun we have together, thanks all to it!

More involved than necessary

We were excited to play this game because we love word games. You must have 2 teams of at least 2 or more players. It does not state this on the outside of the box, but you need at least 4 people to play. The theming is super cute and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the design. We found the game a bit confusing to understand the levels scoring. My opinion is the scoring could be much easier to follow and not as involved. To make scoring more user friendly would have made this much more fun to play. The object is for one team player to give clues to a clue word and must not use that word to explain it. There is a bell to hit if the opposing team catches you saying the Hot Word while trying to get their team mates to guess the word. The problem is the other team cannot see the words on the cards. We created our own work around for that, when someone draws a card, they look at it and also show each card to the other team, so they can catch them if they mess up. After a few rounds we stopped scoring and just picked cards and tried to get each other to guess the words. So we devised our own version of how to play. We did have a lot of fun though I also own a game called Taboo which is exactly the same premise but simpler to play. I would still recommend because I love word guessing games and it provides a nice amount of cards with 4 words on each card, so there is the opportunity to play many many many games and rounds.

Pretty fun game!

I got my sister n law and brother n law together with us to play this game and it was really fun, trying to guess the words without saying certain letters, oh it was a battle lol, this is definitely a diff kind of game for adults. Great for parties and gatherings where adults need some entertainment. Overall this game is awesome

Hot fun

This game took a bit to understand how to play ,it's almost like charades but with words .Super fun once you get the hang of it. Lots of laughs and great family times. I would for sure recommend. This will be one of our new go to games

This was a great game to play at my office party lots of adult fun and would also be great fun for the kids A little hard to get to know the rules but once you played a couple of times it will be a blast.

Family Game Night

I would buy this product again. I am always looking for new and interesting games or products to try on family night and this was FUN.
We were laughing at ourselves trying so hard not to say the word but with saying the word. The hot sauce bottle pieces are adorable and being timed always makes for interesting, feeling the pressure answers. Definitely recommend for game night.

Fun fun game!!

Received this game free!! Loved thee idea of this game!! The game board doesn't really work with the game and the instructions on how many moves to make are somewhat confusing. We ended up playing without the board and had waaaay more fun!! Loved how much fun it was with the family!!!

i played this game as a drinking game and it was super fun. I highly recommend. Instrictions were super easy to use. This game was different than the others and we all liked it way better.
