Powerful, nice design with some strange flaws

This is my 3rd HP laptop. It is powerful and comes with the 8th generation intel i7 CPU and Nvidia Geforce. It has lots of RAM.
Design is great. It is slim and light compared to similar laptops.
However, it has some strange flaws. I have installed Ubuntu on it alongside Windows. The battery works awfully in Ubuntu.
Also, I had installed fifa 2019 on Windows and it couldn't run it smoothly even with the geforce graphic.

I'm not the most tech savvy person, so I can't give in depth details about this laptop, but what I can say is that it works great, the keyboard is very easy to use and the mouse pad is very functional. The battery last for a few hours without being plugged in. I don't have any complaints about this laptop.

I've had both HP and MAC computers and found the HP lasted longer in terms of not malfunctioning. I received a new HP Pavillion for Christmas but had to return it after two months. It kept shutting down, the keypad was frozen and other issues. I replaced it with an HP a Envy that's so much more powerful. One thing I don't like is the awkward keypad placement and the annoying apps on Windows 8. I guess for the money a Pavillion is good but they have better options at HP.
