Gets the job done…

So fun that this childhood game that I grew up on is around now! It seems though that the quality of the game pieces is not as good as it was back in the day. The hippos mouths get stuck and don’t open to grab marbles causing MELTDOWNS for the kid using that particular hippo. When working well, it is a GREAT game for young kids as it teaches skills like color recognition, counting, patience, hand-eye coordination, and following rules, just to name a few. Despite the satisfactory quality that this game is made with, I would still recommend it for families as it is a great introduction to board games.

Great game but quality is lacking.

The concept of the game is great, especially for kids.

The quality isn’t that great, the hippos seems fragile. The leavers stick and sometimes the heads don’t lift up to eat. For a game that requires that hippos to be pushed down to play they don’t move that great. This is just after a few games played.

I’d be willing to pay more if the quality was better.

Fun for all ages

We love this game! I have 3 kids that are 3,8 and 11 so sometimes game night means not everyone can play. This game they can all take part in ands have a blast trying to beat each other! It’s bit the most sturdy. My 3 year old broke one of the hippos the first time playing but we made it work with the other hippos.

Fun game!

Great game for the kids. They really love fighting to get them all! No way to really cheat so it makes the game even more fun. My 4 year loves how fast he can get the neck going on his hippo

Really fun game!

All my family enjoy playing Hungry Hippos because is so fun and we laughed a lot playing. I really recommend this game to play with all family and friends.

Classic kids game

You can’t go wrong with hungry hungry hippos!! It’s a classic kids game, perfect for kids aged 3+. The whole family can enjoy. I bought it for my kids and I continue to gift it to little ones.

So much fun

After getting this game for Christmas it’s bedn fun for the whole family. My 3 year old just loves it and my 7 year old enjoys playing too! We play for hours it seems!

Great way to pass time

My 3 boys and i love to play this game. Its simple for children to learn, and fun to play as a family. My only complaint is that its fairly cheaply built. I think they could have built it a bit more sturdy.

The kids love it!

All four of my kids love this game and so do I. It is an easy game to set up and put away. It is a fun way to work on counting and other basic math skills.

My children and I love playing Hungry, Hungry Hippos! It is such a fun game for the whole family to play. I remember playing this game as a kid myself and loved it then too.
