This wireless security camera is the kind of device that can work really well for you, depending on what you need it for. It's able to be accessed via an app on your phone anywhere you have an internet connection, making it great as a baby monitor or security camera, or just as a way of keeping an eye on things at home or the office while you're not there. Once set up, using the app is easy, as is adjusting the camera to pan up or down, or rotate 350 degrees. It has a microphone to pick up audio, and you can press a button on the app to speak through the camera as well.

Setting it up in the first place is frustrating. It's not complicated, the app is easy to find, and the camera just needs to be plugged in. But connecting the app to the camera via internet failed five or six times for me before finally working, and there are virtually no instructions as to why it failed or what to do differently. Inside the app, nothing is explained and there are no instructions, so everything has to be self-taught. Take fifteen minutes or so to learn how to use every part of the app, and then you should be fine.

Depending on your connection, the camera can record smoother, lower-quality videos, or videos in 1080p if your connection can handle it. It can also take photos, and you can use the combination microphone and speaker to communicate with people near the camera. The speaker isn't great, so when you speak it is a bit hard to hear, but it's never so bad that you can't be understood.

Overall, if you need a simple security cam that can be accessed via an app, this one does pretty well! Just take the time to learn how to use it when you first set it up, and after that it shouldn't give you any trouble.
