Ice melts faster then I would like

The ice melts fast. We use this once a week at least. We use it for sodas and on average we put ice in it around 4pm and by 11pm the ice is completely melted. I would think a cooler could keep the inside cool enough that there would still be ice after 7 hours. We definitely will not be taking this camping. Our food would go bad over night.
For what we use it for it works. For just a day trip or picnic this would be fine
