Great bookcase for only $55. The material is good, holds to heavy books without bending. Shelves can be adjusted. It looks even better with glass doors, which are optional. Easy assembled.

Great Bookcase - Serves it's purpose well!

The Ikea Billy Bookcase is a great standard bookcase if you're looking for something basic but modern, to get the job done. It's sturdy enough, provides plenty of storage, & has a space conserving design so it can fit just about anywhere!

Inexpensive, so you can't expect too much.

In my house, I have 7 of these bookcases (different sizes). They are inexpensive so they are easy to replace if something were to go wrong (which hasn't happened yet).
